Hi hi - just got to the science center and N promptly fell asleep, so I'm in the car with her doing school work. We went to in-n-out burger and I so wish we had them on the east coast. J declared it better than 5 guys.
Tomorrow we are hoping to go to some beach near Malibu and a hike and maybe see my cousins again. The kids hit it off last weekend, I wish they lived closer.

Good news. Texas Children's Hospital called me and they have a fast track system. Basically, M has an appt with a GI and they go over her issues and we get a plan in place, possible run blood work etc. These doctors don't keep patients so it'd basically be just to tied us over till we have our scheduled appt at the end of the month. At least it's something, for the time being and it's all through the same organization.

Just heard back from X’s coordinator and she said they determined he meets criteria for speech services.
They think he needs services for social/behavioral and OT, too, but we need an evaluation for those so we’re doing that and ST in a couple weeks.
Calendar is filling up fast but I’m glad they’re moving quickly on everything.

wedding hahahaha that is funny! Maybe Maine looked like Norway because I’ve told you guys my sister lives there?! vino I’m constantly converting kilo’s to lbs, meters to inches and Celsius to Fahrenheit, you’d think I would know this by now... @lahdeedah88 dd seems to feel better, ds not so much... hope you and m feel better soon too! cagoldi that is quite the story  ! I’ve been watching some British gardeners on YouTube and they use inches/feet. I was kind of surprised about that. They also use meters and other metric system things as well. |

I forgot to mention the other day. One of the girls in H’s class broke her leg over the weekend at one of the trampoline places. Poor girl is stuck in a wheelchair. That sounds miserable for both the kid and her parents. H said that someone (a classmate) is assigned to help the girl while at school, her teacher made it a fun thing.
We get a voucher every year from my work for either a free turkey from the grocery store or a couple of options from honeybaked ham. Being who I am, I waited until today (the last day) to get my food. I picked up a turkey breast and Tuscan style broccoli. I’m excited to eat supper.

School lost another glove. This is the third missing set. I’m beyond annoyed. We have parent teacher conference tomorrow night and I’m going to bring it up. He’s been there for over two years and we’ve never lost a thing before these past few weeks.

wedding - Our taxes are a mess too. The 3% decrease in taxes doesn't outweigh the ~$23k decrease in deductions and credits compared to last year. We'd need to be making a whole lot more to counter that.
