My son won 1st place in his pack race! Oh wait...that means we are supposed to stay all day. I ran home to swap out kids and left him there with the neighbors. I'm going to have to get creative here 😬

C went to his play date and right before he left they were jumping around and C got a head to the nose. First bloody nose and it had a line through the middle like a bruise. He seems fine though.
In the two hours he was there we went to lunch and did groceries so just relaxing the rest of the day.

Took C and L to Aldi and Kroger. L was throwing stuff out of the cart, kicking, ect. I had told the kids if they weregood they could pick out a candy so she didn't get one. Cue ALL the screaming. The guy in front of us turned around every 5 seconds to glare at us, but the people behind us were so nice. They were trying to distract her and were telling me they've been there. I'm home with wine.

Back from the birthday party. My head is pounding. I hate play places. Loud music, flashing lights, kids screaming and crying. It's a nightmare.
But, I found my group of parents and chatted with them while the kids ran wild and hopefully it will be an easy bedtime.
It's too late for my Saturday nap and my body is mad at me for it.

wineallthetime right now I'm focusing my energy on that dude getting an ingrown hair in an unfortunate location. Same klong11. The kids are having fun but this party is never ending. And there's a screamer amongst the guests.

wineallthetime That definitely sounds like it calls for a drink! C acted up at check-out this past fall and I had to carry her out like a football while she wailed as the bagger pushed my groceries. I hate that flustered, embarrassed feeling!

We ended up going out for a late lunch, then DH took C to the grocery store while B and I did some housework. DH and I seem to both be coming down with colds so that's fun. I have a casserole in the oven for dinner that I made/froze a couple weeks back so at least I don't have to cook! Can't wait til bedtime for everyone  |

We’re back. Kids were good but sushi is such a messy meal for them. Big big tip left for the amount of rice that needed to be cleaned up. @klongoria, I hate those scenes too! Just too much! dapostrophe, congratulations on the first place win! @wine, been there. Sucks! Hope C is okay, wedding! |

flamingo, Have you ordered from Pasch pickle? I just saw a swimsuit I think I’d like to get for Josie, and upon further investigation I saw a lot of smocked dresses that I know you really like for C, so I thought I’d reach out to check on quality before I order.

For dinner we went to a Peruvian restaurant in a gas station. It was really good! I'm thinking about suggesting it for the next girl's night out because they also have a full bar

Hi! Busy day. I’ve laundered clothes, washed dishes, split firewood until the splitter broke, cleaned the spare bedroom (dumping ground for all the shit that doesn’t have a place). But I’m so exhausted now! I’ve hardly sat down all day. Plus S is being extra challenging today.
But I just took a pork Wellington out of the oven and am waiting for it to rest, then digging in (it’s my fav!). Then I will sit on the couch for the rest of the night!

I am exhausted. I drank a whole bottle of wine myself at the fundraiser last night which was probably awesome for my antibiotics. C gave the sitter a hard time going to sleep but then fell asleep on DD when she got home from practice. Today was a hockey game for DS1 then the fourth bounce house party of the month for T. I’m hoping for an early bed for me so I’m ready for my day out tomorrow, brunch and Broadway with my best friend. Next weekend is my night away for my sister’s birthday so lots to look forward to.

What a day. I didn't have the energy for my friend to be over all afternoon - I was zapped by dinner. The boys weren't terrible at the restaurant, though towards the end, Chase knocked a half a glass of water right in my lap... Those dinners always last 2+ hours, which is just too much for them. It was nice to see my BIL though and I hadn't had Indian in ages, so it was fine. But I'm exhausted, just icing down my ankle so I can go to bed!

Hi! wineallthetime he was being a jerk. Hope karma bites him hard. Went to black bear diner for breakfast with my parents, bought a new toaster since our toaster oven had an accident. Ended up buying my cousin’s baby shower gift. It’s a month away. Took LO to the schools winter carnival for an hour. It was cute but I don’t feel the need to go again. Then we went to Shabuya for dinner. Not the best place for kids. LO ate but since I’m allergic to lots of seafood/fish I had to be extra careful with the food choices. I took a shower to get the seafood smell off of me. |

I went in to find her stark naked in her crib, and she told me, "I went peepee in my bed." Diaper, liner and jammies completely dry. Bed...soaked. Thanks, kid. |

I love poker but not Texas hold em much but I'm pretty proud of how I did. We started with 2 tables of nine. I survived the merge and finished in 7th. I beat A and my brother so really, I won 😉

I'm going for a coffee date with an old coworker this morning. Then hoping my friend can come out and see the house later. Other than that, no plans for the day. Except stay inside. It's so cold!
