Halfway through the week ladies!! Chopper's in the air and should be landingon the rig in 30-45 minutes. As long as nothing unexpected (fog) happens, DH will be boarding and then getting home in less than 3 hours.

Awesome danib! J had me up at 5:30. He has a pretty phlegmy cough so I think that contributed to the early wake up. B is back to school today and I desperately need to hit up the grocery store. I literally have eggs, clementines, and yogurt in my fridge.

Yay danib!! The roads were supposed to be an icy mess this morning. H wanted me to work from home but I'm not on a schedule now with this stupid issue I've been dealing with and had to be in office to get shit done today. Luckily the main roads weren't too bad so I made it in safe. BUT the software I was supposed to have this morning to test is not in my inbox. I swear if I came in for no reason I'm going to lose it.

C has been waking up with a super full diaper lately and leaking once in a while. Do you guys prefer nighttime diapers or booster pads? He's in size 5 right now and not even close to 35 lbs on the size 6.

He's in size 5 right now and not even close to 35 lbs on the size 6. I've never bought overnight diapers, always used the regular ones. I recently switched H to size 6. Ran out of his 5s while I thought he was going to potty train, knowing I had 6s leftover from C. He didn't potty train but I felt the 6s fit better (and don't fill up as much) so that's what I bought. He's only 28lbs.

More expensive but no more leaks. He’s 31lbs and they fit fine.

So glad danib! goldenlove I would usually also just size up for night time. I’m not sure if those weight limits have ever correlated to when M needed to switch. Nighttime leaks are so annoying.

Morning! Slept terrible last night. Rude.
Headed to gymnastics in a couple of minutes to switch out some paperwork. I was wrong about a pipe bursting in the next office over. The sprinkler system malfunctioned on the top floor and just kept pumping water out until the fire department was able to turn it off. We have some water damage on our ceiling tiles, but are incredibly lucky. The walls down the hall looked like one of those water elements with the water just pouring out of the ceiling. That building is cursed.

I just assume at this point that one day we’ll show up for work and the whole building will be in a sinkhole. I have a feeling that with the amount of water being pumped through the rest of the building that there is definitely moisture in our ceiling and walls. How’s your work fiasco?

The end is in sight but it's going to be a pain until we get there. Still have daily calls which I'm fine with during normal work hours. It's just putting a strain on non-work life because I haven't been able to go grocery shopping or make dinner or do anything after work since I'm on calls all the time. Still waiting on software this morning too...

He wears a nighttime huggies size 6.

Awesome starbuck! I’m meeting a gf for dinner after work. That means I don’t have to prepare dinner, or do the bath or bed time routine. I’m so excited about it. But I feel guilty for being excited. Toddlers can be a lot at this stage... I just need a break.

Enjoy your night cookswithwine! That’s great news about the inspection starbuck!!!! I’m working remote today because of all the snow. I’m going to take a break and shovel for a bit. I have short ribs in the crockpot atm and my house smells amazing!

Toddlers can be a lot at this stage... I just need a break. I only miss like 3-4 bath/bedtimes a year (not counting when both MH and I are out together and the kids are with the grandparents), so I for sure look forward to those nights!

Such great news starbuck! What a relief! Enjoy your night cookswithwine. When you do that many bedtimes/nightly routines a break is much deserved.

OMG YOU GUYS!! This is such a great day.
A few weeks ago, I applied for a Women's leadership development program here in ATL that prepares women to serve on nonprofit boards and for leadership positions within the nonprofit community after completion. You also do some fundraising for job training and mental health services for low-income women as part of the program. It's a competitive program and they usually only accept about 25% of applicants.
Was expecting the next step in the process to be interviews (per their SOP), but they just accepted me to the program and said that I scored so high on the application that they are completely bypassing my interview and just accepting me straight out! Like what!
I have to go get a headshot now lol
