I'm definitely looking forward to the hospital stay this time. As long as I get good nurses. My kids do fine sleeping away so I won't be worried.

I'm not judging at the fact that the baby way out really... C was at a brewery within his first week of life, precautions were taken... I'm just shocked at being out so quickly after giving birth! I just wanted full comfort. I also don't know what it's like to give birth vaginally though. It’s not delightful. But I suppose for baby #4 they just sort of fall out on their own? Lol. IDK. There no way in hell I’d be out for dinner less than 24 hrs later though. This. Who wants be out in public practically open and gushing from the birth canal? Girl get takeout. Eww.

flamingo that sounds very much like a 4th birth. I'm sure if my nephew wasn't in NICU for breathing issues she would have been out of there asap. Yep. I feel like if I had another I could and would do it. It gets easier every time. Birth and recovery, not parenting.

What MLM is it?
And, as for your theory, I would bet that you’re right!

Not in my case. #4 was Theo and he practically had to be pried out 2 weeks late. Can't imagine going anywhere a day after birth. That sounds like the worst.

After my 4th I would have gladly stayed in the hospital for like 2 weeks. They cooked for me, cleaned for me, watched my baby so I could sleep, and other people took care of my other 3. I also got a corner room where you had to go through a storage room to my room so it was super quiet. It was amazing. All of this.

We went out for dinner with my sister, bil and another couple when N was 4 days old. I had one glass of wine and I remember feeling so judged by everyone in the restaurant while I nursed. Oh well. My sister knew we needed out of the house, and she was right.
Dh and I went out to the winery one afternoon with H within the first week too. It was a (rare) beautiful April afternoon and we had the patio to ourselves. No regrets

24 hrs after birth aren’t you still riding high? It’s like day 3-to month 4 that are shit.
I came home from the hospital after Julia, had my sitz bath, then a long hot shower, put on my J Crew Dream pyjamas, (that I bought as a push present to myself) went downstairs and proclaimed I’d be hibernating until at least March. I didn’t of course, but I ‘allowed’ myself way more downtime than I did with B.

I gave birth at the hospital at 13.30 and was home at 5, I did not want to stay, but I doubt they would have let me stayed the night if I have wanted to. Sitting in a restaurant hours after birth seems like a nightmare to me, I’d worry about germs, but to each there own.

I once put a bottle of nail polish in the microwave because I read it would reliquify old thick polish. I forgot about the little metal ball inside. Luckily it exploded just before my mom opened our over the stove microwave. Otherwise she might have had molten polish all over her face. I was about 10 or so. I got in massive trouble.
Layla talks about getting her ears pierced. I almost wish I had done it for her as a baby. I love the look of baby girls with earrings. But her body her choice and all that. I know some pediatricians do it in the office for infants at least. We will probably do a tattoo shop when the time is right.
No thank you to going out to eat day after birth. Granted I left the hospital this time earlier than normal, but I loath being confined to a hospital. We went straight home and will probably stay here for at least a week or so, but mostly because of driving restrictions from the c/s.

What MLM is it? And, as for your theory, I would bet that you’re right! I HAVE NO IDEA. They *never* say the name, and I’ve stalked other people’s pages that most frequently comment on her posts about it and there’s no mention of a proper name there, either. It’s always something vague like ‘plant based supplements’. It’s not plexus or juice plus, I know that, and I think it is a vitamin/pill. Isn’t that kinda strange? I feel like that must be a tactic within the company, to get people to reach out and be like, ‘so what is it?’ I probably sound nuts. ETA: they’re in deep, apparently when the H leaves the military in a couple years this is what they’ll do full-time.

My mom does plexus. Her and my grandma are her only customers. She tried to get me with the kids vitamins but my kids hate them 🤷♀️

MH’s aunt sells this shit and got his grandparents on it. Grandma had so many health issues with it counteracting with her meds. Such a disaster. MH’s aunt sects Luke it’s a cute all fro everything. 🙄
