Random question: has anyone had Botox while breastfeeding? I called my pede yesterday and she couldn’t give me a clear cut answer...

Random question: has anyone had Botox while breastfeeding? I called my pede yesterday and she couldn’t give me a clear cut answer... I go to a Dr at a medical spa and she wouldnt do it while I was nursing. From what she said there isnt enough info on it so they just wait and advise against.

oh and morning, all. Just another day of changing the world from the comfort of my govt cubicle.
I'm trying something new today; trying out knee high stockings so I can wear dress shoes in the office. I go between feeling very professional to Granny like within minutes. It's a confusing day over here.

I'm so ready for the weekend...but I work this weekend. Maddie has been coughing a ton at school. Only a little at home. She went home from school sick Monday but seemed fine most of the afternoon. I picked her up early yesterday for a derm appt and her teacher said she had been miserable coughing all day. All I can think of is she's either somatisizing (I don't think she's full out faking) because she's struggling to readjust after winter break, she's allergic to something there, or she actually does have something like pneumonia but for some reason symptoms come out more there (when Cass had pneumonia other than the coughing she was mostly fine and energetic except for patches here and there). She took allergy meds this morning and I texted her teacher to see if there's anything new in the classroom environment.

I have to vent and get this out of my system. There's a new guy at TKD. He's trying to be Rambo or something and that's annoying in and of itself, but my main bitch is he keeps bringing his daughter who's around 8 to the adult class (ages 13+). It's so damn annoying. I could give him a pass if his schedule didn't allow for him to take her to the kid class, but yesterday the kid class was literally just before the adult class and she was in it so there was no reason for her to join the adult class. Almost all the other adults in class are parents of kids in the program and during adult class our kids sit in back in the kid area. Some of them have older kids(ages 11-13) and those kids usually attend the kid class and only occasionally the adult class. I think it's a case of male entitlement. If it continues I think I'm going to ask the instructor to address it.

I've tried the little half socks and they fall off my feet so I am forever adjusting them, and I've tried so many, and having the bareness of the top of my feet exposed feels weird this time of year. IDK I'm not sold on anything, I'm just really working through my feelings and FWP over here

Maybe give her some mucinex in the morning. If it's just coughing I think you are ok. If she's having trouble breathing worry more?

It's a confusing day over here. This will surprise no one but when I worked I wore knee highs in the winter with dress pants/shoes (and still would if I was dressing up for something). A) It's freezing. and B) No one needs to see my pasty white feet sticking out from under wool slacks, lol.

Maybe give her some mucinex in the morning. If it's just coughing I think you are ok. If she's having trouble breathing worry more? I don't think it's a nasal drip thing because she hasn't been congested. But according to her teacher and school nurse she's hacking up a lung there. I'm not worried per se, but I picked her up on Monday because apparently her coughing was so severe it was distracting and she felt horrible. But then I bring her home and she's more or less fine. I don't want her to be miserable at school or be a distraction in the classroom, but I also don't want to start a habit of her coughing to get out of school. Cass never had difficulty breathing with pneumonia. She went to school, TKD, mostly had crazy energy except for a few moments here and there so while I don't think it's that because the presentation is mainly at school, I just don't know.

Yesterday my nasal passages felt so dry and inflamed. I didn’t take my Claritin last night to see if that gave me some relief and it did. I’m still stuffy, but at least I feel better. I just took Sudafed instead and it’s much better.

Happy birthday cheeksmum! mskatiep fingers crossed for baby day! On a side note, I am always surprised at those of you that are still having sex this late in pregnancy. It was just not a thing that either MH or I were interested in by that point.
