According to my chiropractor my whole body is tight and I need to incorporate stretching into my daily routine. I'm looking at some prenatal yoga videos. I'm trying to get into the habit of getting up a little earlier and doing it in the am to start my day off right. We'll see how it goes.

I'm here! I've started the day off with a Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred routine. I think I'm going to go between those and trying Buti yoga. I've definitely missed my early morning workouts and was happy to get moving this morning.

I did the math and I am 25 lbs away from my wedding date weight. So that's my goal. I've done a good job of losing a bit and maintaining it, but I'd like to shed this throughout the first half of the year, so 4.2 lbs per month, totally doable.

I went to workout after work at the Y and the parking lot was full. I think they have basketball games going on, but no spots, so I left. When I got home I found some therabands, a trx system, and a 10lb med ball that MH bought home from his yearly conference. I did a few things, but today I plan to look up workouts centered around those for when I can’t make it to the gym.
I did get in my ab work last night, too. Small victories.

I've been doing my ab work every day. I haven't been so good about getting on my elliptical at work though. I think I need to set a timer on my phone to remind me to get off my ass for a few minutes.

I need to get back to it...I gained 10 lbs over the holidays from eating everything I wanted to and feel like crap because of it. My goal is to get to the gym 3-4 times a week. I made it twice last week, then got sick. I'm going back today.

I finally got back to the gym this morning and did a 3 mile run. I’m not even going to bother weighing myself until the end of next week. I’m going to do a quick weights workout and then hopefully squeeze in a bbm and an ab workout later today. I’m going to be poolside in Vegas the first weekend of March and I’d like to feel good in a bathing suit

I need someone to come over and force me to do daily ab workouts. I was so good at them before kids and it showed. Yet I haven't been able to get motivated to get back to them. Any good - and quick - workouts I can check out on youtube or something? Maybe watching someone with nice abs working out will get me jealous enough to DO something??

I mean, I don't have abs, but we used to do the 7 minute workouts at my office. Just download the app, they have an ab, butt, leg, and all over workout, each are 7 minutes.

joelies I really like Tracy Anderson for ab stuff. She has some good standing ab workouts, too. HEre's a couple below but if you google Tracy Anderson abs and Tracy anderson standing abs you'll find a lot more. This one says it's an extended version. vimeo.com/36886419

Day 88 done. (I am finishing this darn challenge, lol!)
I did a 6 pack 10 minute abs that I found on YouTube.
Now if to the gym to run. Also, I am SORE! My body hates me for taking so much time off!

I am doing a swim training app, right now it is 3 days a week. I am starting with the "get fit" but I think I want to end the year with the 5k distance swim or maybe prep myself to start that by next year vino, i know you were doing some swimming, if you are interested it is called "myswimpro" it has some pretty good workouts starting easy and building to a goal depending on the training program chosen

I did day 89 of bbm, popsugars 8 minute abs and then ran a little over 3 miles and through in some hills and interval sprints.

I sat around like a lump on Saturday.
Yesterday, I took X to the trail.
Did a thirty minute Buti video this morning, but it was a little too easy so I’m going to do another hour of yoga after the kids are in bed.

I skimped on abs last week. I thought about the fact that I hadn’t done them as I was getting in bed. Still trying to get into the routine of solo parenting. I did them last night, though.
I will try to get to the gym in the morning at least once this week, then I plan to go Friday on my half day of work.

I was doing 21 day fix videos for a couple weeks. Then got bored. Now I’m trying LIIFT4. I think I need to just keep switching it up and not trying to stick to one program because that’s never been successful. On weekends, Dh and I like to work out together and make up some sort of treadmill/ rowing workout where we alternate. It’s actually nice to do that together and push each other.
I’ve been eating much healthier and drinking less since New Years. I feel better, i just don’t see a change on the scale yet, but that’s okay.

I haven’t weighed myself since the holidays yet. But I’m definitely eating better and drinking less. I got in an almost 4 mile stun this morning. I need to get back on weights, but lately I’m just so rushed with everything.

I’ve been ignoring this thread but I’m here now. I haven’t gained any weight but all my muscle has turned to slush and I’m definitely feeling down about how I look.
One of my exercise issues is that I usually exercise in our basement but it’s too cold in the winter. C gets up super early so I can’t do it downstairs. Plus I’m really valuing any sleep I can get lately so I don’t want to get up early. Evenings are carting C around and basically not getting to eat dinner until 8pm most nights. My eating is ok. I’ve gone two weeks straight bringing my lunch so that’s huge.
I think I’m going to start with those Tracey Anderson ab videos when I get up every morning. They are short and don’t look like the require more than a mat so I should be able to do them in my bedroom. Starting Monday since we are away this weekend.

Pro tip: watch those videos over the weekend so you know what they’re doing. She changes some of it up quickly and I noticed the first time I did it, when I’d figure out which direction she was going and doing it correctly, she’s already moved on. Let me know if you like the exercises because I can video some of the dvds I have of her mat work for you. I really like her ab stuff because it targets different muscles.

For some inspo I've gained an inch from stretching over the years. I used to be 5'6, now solidly 5'7.

Anybody have any free home fitness routine apps you like? I downloaded one that looked good, built personalized routines for each day. Claimed it was free but then you have to pay a subscription so I deleted it.
I do the 21 day fix workout fairly religiously and TKD, but I wanted to mix it up a bit.

Just finished up week 2 of my 6 week get fit swim program. I got my fitness tracker to track and sync. And I had some good tunes on my mp3 player. I'm going to try and start keto tomorrow. It may end up just being low carb but it's a start.

I really had to search for this thread. I need to check in more.
So, The past three weeks I've been doing the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. It's been good in the sense that I like that she talks a lot about form and makes me think about what muscles I should be using during moves, and I missed that when i was doing BBM, cause she doesnt focus on that. but, I need something new for next week.
I've got a whole bunch of the Beach Body videos and I'm going to find something to start for Monday morning.

This morning i did a Insanity workout and loved it! It was fast paced and i felt good and sweaty after.
I was looking to do the 21 Day fix, but couldn't find any on Youtube, Beachbody really has them on lock down, eh? Anyone know where I can find them without paying the membership?
