I'm glad it sounds like the day went as well as it could wedding. I've been thinking about you. What a big heart C has. I'm sorry about the job stress. It's such an infuriating situation.

DH’s day to sleep in; thankfully the kids slept til 7:45 so that worked out nicely for me.

Our sitter is coming after lunch to play with the kids so my H and I can go see a movie. I do need to get groceries this morning, though—wasn’t organized enough to get my Wally World order in on time.

I skipped TKD yesterday because I already did a big workout in the morning and didn't want to get sweaty again. Plus I had zucchini bread in the oven (which ended up tasting amazing) but I went to the woman's house afterward. She's only a few minutes away from us. The kids had a blast and didn't want to leave. We had fun playing dominos. It's a bummer though because they are PCSing in a couple months.

Just saw on FB that a fellow Navy wife I know gave birth in the front seat of her SUV at the hospital entrance. Apparently they couldn't get inside in time; they enlisted some nice bystander to take pics and there's the whole L&D team, etc.

One of the nurses as well as several commenters told her insurance will pay to have the car detailed, LOL.

I wouldn't say this is my *worst* nightmare--and it's probably better than having a baby in the CFA bathroom--but it's up there.

We're not sure, but I was thinking the same. He was listed as a Labrador mix at the shelter, but obviously he gets the coloring from something else. The vet said he looked like some kind of hound? So, IDK.

Morning, Happy Sunday.

I had this big idea to wake up earlier than we have been so tomorrow morning isnt such a shock, it didn’t happen and tomorrow morning is going to suck balls.

Clean house on the agenda this morning, I have a haircut booked for 1pm, then something out of the house in the afternoon.

I’ve got to meal plan, prep and pick an exercise routine so I’m ready for 5:15am tomorrow.

Morning. We all went to bed early last night. I even gave myself melatonin so I could sleep. We are all up just hanging out in bed, the kids watching a show.

I have to get ready for the work/school week today and we will attempt to replace the rubber door seal on the washer. I tried to schedule a repairman, but there were no openings while MH is home the next few days, so after watching YouTube videos of how to do it, I decided it looked like we could tackle it on our own. Fingers crossed we don’t screw up our washer.

I did not sleep well last night so I’m hoping to nap later. We are on our way back from Ninja class. We had frozen our membership for November and December so this was our first time back. C did so good. I was really impressed. He also got up to 7ft on the warped wall, which was the best out of his group. Once we get home I am going right out to do groceries to get it over with.

DH got up early to check into his flight tomorrow but it wouldn’t let him because his flight is not until Tuesday lol. Now DD is at the neighbor’s, C is napping, the others are playing video games, and DH is out buying new clothes for his trip. Later we have a hockey game and a gymnastics meet at the exact same time.

We’re home from vacation. I love the cabin/holiday rental, but I’m happy to have my stuff back in place and to have a bit more room. Back on weight watchers tomorrow, so we ordered pizza, the kids go to bed in half an hour and there’s a cold bottle of Sauvignon with my name on it in the fridge.
