Morning. Sleep happened last night and it was glorious. She slept till 5:45! I also watched bird box on Netflix before bed. I enjoyed it, but didn’t find it too scary/creepy like I expected based on what people were saying.
Waiting for doctors to round and tell me the “plan” for the day. Sierra is super antsy so if they keep us we will be getting out of the room today and go to the playroom. And aimlessly walk around the hospital. Because she wants to get out of the room soooo bad (me too!).

DH is making pancakes and I had to intervene...this happens every time. He thinks he is an IHOP cook but that is not the case, pancakes are always either over or undercooked 😂
No big plans for today, I think DH wants to clean out the garage. I’m making chicken tortilla soup for supper tonight.

Morning! I’m at work. So far it’s been a quiet morning. Nothing specifically planned for this afternoon, although it’s supposed to be in the mid 40s so we may play outside. wedding sending you all of my love today lfig I’m glad you both got good sleep. Fx for something that you can treat today. |

I made kind of underdone french toast for breakfast. It is what it is. I also made turkey bacon. Since i learned to make it with the broiler I make it often. So easy and so little mess.
I have a girl's night in tonight that I need to make a few things for. Also hoping to have some outside time.

We're at gymnastics. We have swim later. Cadence has been a brat lately, not listening and just being a smart ass. Looks like I'll be pushing timeouts for awhile until she remembers who the boss is.

flamingo I feel like you may have mentioned your H's pancake skills before, and I remember thinking your H is my H. Mine insists on using cast iron to cook them and then gets so frustrated when they are overdone or stuck to the grill pan. Yet, he never changes his approach, I don't get it!

I’ve only just now realised how lucky I am with my h’s pancake making skills! All though pancakes are more like crepes over here, he makes the best!

Also I had a dream last night that lfig and S got to leave the hospital early this morning and stopped by my house to hang out because it was too early to go home but I was still in bed so MH entertained. As soon as I got dressed and out of the bedroom they were heading out the door and getting in get jeep. MH said that S was very sweet. Clearly looking for updates late at night affects dreams |

flamingo and dapostrophe, same here. MH flattened them with the spatulas right after flipping. Stop taking the fluffiness out of my pancakes!! ETA: I meant to mention it a few weeks ago but we went out for brunch and we had the most amazing Nutella banana pancakes! What an incredible combination.

LOL This is seriously one of the reasons I married my dh. He’s an amazing cook and he does weekend breakfast every Saturday and Sunday. Crepes and eggs Benedict are his best ones. Also probably the reason my pants always feel tight on Monday! 😂😂 |
