Also, pancakes are not a breakfast thing over here 😉. Lol we do pancakes a lot. But he made them legit crepes... I’m assuming the same kind you guys have? Super thin with powdered sugar and lemon? Hahaha I meant all pancakes, American or crepe style, are not eaten for breakfast over here. We eat them with powdered sugar, regular sugar and butter, jam, treacle syrup, Nutella, apple, bacon, cheese (not all at the same time of course 😉).

flamingo I feel like you may have mentioned your H's pancake skills before, and I remember thinking your H is my H. Mine insists on using cast iron to cook them and then gets so frustrated when they are overdone or stuck to the grill pan. Yet, he never changes his approach, I don't get it! I’m sure I have mentioned it. It drives me so crazy...it’s an easy breakfast, dude, how are you messing it up? He’s a great cook, typically, but this is one area he needs to just accept as not his forté and relinquish to me 😬

If you guys could send some labor vibes my way I'd appreciate it. Today feels like a good day to have a baby, but unfortunately I'm not even close I'm just tired of being pregnant and ready to meet my baby girl.

Morning!!! E slept in 4 1/2 hour chunks last night. It was amazing!! Currently watching Elena with LO. My parents left last night so I’m stressing how I’m going to get everything done. My mom helped out so much, it’s now made me think I can’t do it without her.

Morning ladies! We’re heading into the cities. We only had to turn around 3 times for things we forgot 😂 so it was a rough start to the day, but at least we’re in no hurry. We’re going to MOA to play at Nickelodeon universe and then we’ll stay in a hotel so the kids can swim all evening. They are so excited. Thinking of you today wedding Hope you can get out of the room today lfig

Also I had a dream last night that lfig and S got to leave the hospital early this morning and stopped by my house to hang out because it was too early to go home but I was still in bed so MH entertained. As soon as I got dressed and out of the bedroom they were heading out the door and getting in get jeep. MH said that S was very sweet. Clearly looking for updates late at night affects dreams Lol! If this happened I would have told him to wake your ass up!

Mmmmmm...pancakes and crepes sound so good. MH makes good pancakes. We've never attempted crepes.
MH is forcing me to socialize today. We're doing our own TKD class this afternoon with some of the other adults. We did it on NYD and it was so boring. Two of them are belt testing much earlier than than should so they entire time was spent on a few specific skills for them. Then we're going to one of the lady's house afterwards. These are all people who started at the same time as MH and they get engaged in conversations with each other and I'm very much the 5th wheel.
I hope it doesn't go on too long because I want to meet up with my friend tonight to watch Peppermint. We both agreed it looks kind of of horrible but have a soft spot for Jennifer Garner and cant stand Ben Affleck.

Copied from FB: Sierra is getting discharged today. The MRI didn’t show anything concerning. We obviously still have issues and the doctors are working hard at getting to the bottom of it. But they are leaning towards nerve damage thinking it may be an autoimmune issue. She will get more tests done Monday and Tuesday outpatient and we will go from there to determine proper treatment. Thank you everyone for thinking of us and the prayers. It’s scary to watch your child lose use of some of their extremities for unknown reasons. We are now down playing in the playroom and she’s in much better spirits.

We're at gymnastics. We have swim later. Cadence has been a brat lately, not listening and just being a smart ass. Looks like I'll be pushing timeouts for awhile until she remembers who the boss is. J has been nothing short of absolutely terrible. I don't know what else to do. I've taken away every toy that he loves. It gets me no where. I do timeouts. I've even started putting him in the bedroom by himself to calm down because he's throwing kicking/flailing/screaming tantrums.

J saw that picture of S and said "OH MOMMY! Can we go play with her?!" lfig Glad there's no serious issue but also kind of bummed you didn't get a solution/fix. I hope something comes of the nerve study.

The thing that worked for him is to completely ignore him. I let him know that I won’t be talking to him again until he can be calm and I basically ignore all bad behavior. Once he knows he isn’t getting a reaction he comes back calm and apologizes. Taking things away didn’t work. He needed zero reaction to bad behavior.

That’s good news, I think lfig? I’m sure one one hand you just want to know the issue and to fix it but also relieved nothing is wrong with her brain and spinal fluid.

Also hi. I went to running group and got in 15 miles in the rain, which was kind of gross. But DH was still at the gym with the boys when I got home, so I enjoyed a nice, long HOT shower.
Now we're just hanging out for the rest of the day, keeping dry and warm. Chase is now 100% in underwear and he's pretty proactive about using the potty, so there's less to stress about there. I'll probably try to sneak in a short nap later.

MH took H for a haircut so I’m cleaning and doing laundry. M & I are going bowling at 2 with a couple of kids from daycare. I haven’t bowled in over 20 years.
I...am not looking forward to this.

I wish we could ignore it, but hers happens when we are asking her to do something or it is time to do something, like bath time or bedtime. Ignoring her does no good because she is ignoring us and what we're saying. She will tell us no and run and hide or whatever. I'm excited for her teacher to be back on Monday because she keeps them in line during the day and Cadence is much more responsive at home.

She was taking her sweet time getting ready for swim. "Shoes, jacket. I'll be out in the car." She lost her mind over it. I think I got my point across.

I’m watching Catch me if you can (I want to finish You, but my stupid windows laptop is updating again). I’m just amazed at how this kid actually did this, this is not some fictional thing 😳!

Sometimes the sensory input helps calm E. Then maybe in a calm state punishment will work. Or try rewarding M for his good behavior

We went outside and the neighbor kids were playing in their backyard. So 4 moms chatted in the front. One of them is an 11yr old boy that is really sweet to the boys. The family is evangelical and he goes to Christian school. I went back to call E for lunch and the older boy was talking about the garden of eden and the serpant. Then he finished with the story of Jesus and God. I'm not offended and I am not shocked it came from this boy, but definitely unexpected.

It was a rough morning here. I went to bed way too late and M2 was up with the sun today. 😩 I put on MMCH and let him play while I dozed off a little.
MH and M got back around lunch. M was so happy to be back with his brother. I do think he really missed him. I talked to my FIL and he had all good things to say about his behavior, so I’m relieved. He has been talking back a lot at home and I was hoping he didn’t do that there and sounds like he didn’t. Now I just have to work on that behavior at home. This next week won’t be fun for him.
