Guise, good news. My school had me do a time management questionnaire and I only have -71 hours to complete coursework. Recommended that I cut back on other activities. I mean, I would love to, but my kids actually need things.

I totally understand. My kids got hooked on old school Zelda and I let them play a lot the last 2 days of winter break.

Lol. Damn cagoldi. Maybe you can invent some sort of time freeze ray gun? Or perhaps just pour food for your kids into a big bowl once a day. I'm sorry. What is your plan with your classes? How many are you going to take at once? MH is in a program where he just does one at his own pace now. Unfortunately his pace is pretty slow...

How many are you going to take at once? MH is in a program where he just does one at his own pace now. Unfortunately his pace is pretty slow...

I feel like they overestimate the time commitment for some classes, so I don’t think I will really need to spend 18 hours a week on methods of health education but probably will on stats and epidemiology, you know?

So I guess I’ll just take it session by session. It’s ASU and my classes are 7.5 weeks each. It’s going to take me forever.

Exhausting day. Crazy roommates have paraded another 5 people in currently. Getting S to sleep should be interesting with the multiple kids over there. Visiting hours are not over till 9 I think.

She’s usually in bed by now, but they haven’t brought her evening seizure meds yet. So waiting on those.

Preliminary results are in and the people that are not the experts say nothing too noteworthy on them. She did have some high protein levels in her Cerebral spinal fluid so they are assessing that to determine if it’s concerning. Full results should come tomorrow.

The neuromuscular doctor came to assess her and he feels that the nerve conduction test will be telling. But it’s not happening till Monday or Tuesday. Not sure if they are keeping us till then or not.

So basically...still no answers. And Sierra can’t even hold a cup up to drink. So I have to hold it for her. That’s fun.

cagoldi mine are 8 week courses..the good news is that 8 weeks go by quickly..but that's also the bad news bc you have to get through the syllabus in that time too. How many are you doing at a time? I do one at a time but the summer has them overlap for 3 weeks, that was rough.

oh gosh lfig, I'm so sorry there wasn't anything more concrete. I mean, I guess it's good that nothing jumped out as terribly wrong, but I'm sure it would be nice to be able to point to something and say, "Yes, here's the problem and we can fix it!"

The roommate situation just sounds lousy, I can't imagine why they'd have such lengthy visiting hours in a pediatric wing. Don't be afraid to stand up for yourself and request a change or have someone speak to them if it gets any worse (or you just can't take anymore)...these people do not seem like they'd take a subtle hint or be considerate on their own.

Just styrofoam- she squeezes those and bad things happen. My mom is going to bring a straw sippy cup for her tomorrow. The cup I had brought for her needed tipped up. But she can’t grasp it right for that. But with the straw sippy she can hold it between her fists and drink from it.

None planned, but Pete and I might come out in May for a Slayer/Lamb of God show and if that’s the case we will let you know!

Sunny41 I’m still WAH full-time at least through the end of this year.

Not well. He sobbed last night and then went through stages where he cried because everyone will die and he will be alone to blaming me for Maxi’s body not working. He spent some time hiding from us sobbing behind a chair. He called for me this morning when he got up and said “mom Maxi didn’t die”. He was so happy and then I had to crush his soul again and tell him he would be dying later today.
