I'm calling my OB office tomorrow because my diarrhea is getting worse and I'm miserable. Hopefully they can bump me up sooner?

beenthere, I hope they can get you in and you have some relief soon. I don't want to be at work today. I spent a lot of the day yesterday napping, but it wasn't enough.

Lordy mercy! It's been a rough morning. DD (5) went back to school this morning and she was not ready. Like 15 mins temper tantrum before leaving the house. I'm back at work and was not prepared for the stack of work on my desk. Apparently my boss has been working the last 2 days and didn't tell me. beenthere, I hope you get some relief soon!

DD is supposed to have a play date this morning but we went to bed after midnight so she's still asleep. Luckily we never set a specific time. I am not waking her up for it.

My H is back to work for the first day since Dec 14! We miss him and now Iโm trying to get us back into routine since school starts again next week. I wanted to head out to the library this morning, but the girls are happily coloring/cutting/creating at the kitchen table, so it seems silly to disturb them. A cup of coffee on the couch then I guess! ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ

Thanks ladies. Wish me luck I can get ahold of them. They changed their call system and the sheet of paper I was given wasn't updated.
I also ordered my Sneak peek and I'm so excited.

It was like pulling teeth to get ahold of someone! I had to call the hospital line twice and the first time they gave me a bad number. Second time they said theyre sending a message to the OB team but they have 24-72 hours to get back to me. Their system is fucked now. It wasn't like this with my second. I'm so pissed.

They called me back and basically told me to eat a banana.
I'm so frustrated I'm crying.

Iโm back to work today. Already did my only scheduled home visit and I plan to take it pretty easy the rest of the day. My boss is out and Iโm so tired. May lay my head down later. This first tri exhaustion is no joke.

beenthere: AUGH So frustrating! friendofdobby: I'm impatient for mine on the 18th. I've never met the midwives here so I'm nervous. It's weird to not talk to my PCP about pregnancy.

My cousin was bitchy to me about my pregnancy today and I almost pooped myself at the store. Talk about a shitty day....

beenthere Do you know what's causing it? I would just make an appointment and go in. I can't believe they wouldn't tell you to come in. Dehydration is a super serious thing. Especially during pregnancy.

Especially during pregnancy. from my ER visit where I gave a stool sample I didn't have any bacterial or viral causes. They just said to bring it up on Monday. I'm really frustrated. They said I could go to the ER if I felt like I needed it. It was super frustrating. If I feel worse tomorrow I'll either call again or go to the ER.

beenthere If is hasn't let up or slowed down by tomorrow I would go in. That way if nothing else they can at least check to see if you need fluids and give you some if you do.

That way if nothing else they can at least check to see if you need fluids and give you some if you do. except the last time I was there I waited for several hours and then I was really brushed off and my husband acted pissy at me the whole day. I'm just not sure it's worth it. I'm pushing fluids as much as I can and hopefully I'm fine until Monday. They didn't do *anything* other than give me fluids.

beenthere how long has it been going on? What has your diet looked like, is your appetite normal? Are you able to drink plenty of fluids? My doctors office guide says Immodium, Kaopectate, and Pepto are all pregnancy safe, have you tried any of those? I have found that OBs really suck at managing any medical problems not directly related to your pregnancy, if it persists I would maybe try your general practitioner and see if he or she can help. Hope you feel better soon.

I'm really about to try something though. And my diet has been way less than normal. I can barely eat anything. Fluid intake is okay. I've been drinking a lot of water broth and juice.

Here's a pic of the med list, I would definitely try one of those!! That sounds so miserable, I'm sorry :-( I can't believe your primary doctor turned you away, ERs are TERRIBLE at treating pregnant moms. I hope one of the meds works for you and I'm pissed at your OB for not telling you what you can take. Massive throat punch to all involved.

beenthere, hope you can try something on that list to help, I had the same issue with my PCP not wanting to treat me at all when pregnant and my OB telling me to ask my PCP. Finally when I told my OB that the PCP refused to provide guidance ( I demanded a letter from them) the OB basically saw me for everything under the sun. Took some prodding but it worked...

Yeah I am really hoping for Monday to bring relief. 4 more days. I'm eating way less than normal for sure, I haven't been able to finish meals I normally can.

It was so beautiful here today, I'm so bummed I had to work. On the bright side though I was feeling well enough today to enjoy the teeniest glass of wine with dinner. I swear it helps my appetite!
