Little guy and I slept together for 5 hours this morning!! My boobs are completely effed now lol but I feel great.
MH on the other hand is horribly sleep deprived and keeps saying dumb/strange things. I think maybe tonight I will just bite the bullet and take LO into the bed with me early in the night so the poor man can sleep some.

hrh same! 22 days to go and I have been concerned about not feeling love/bonding with baby, as if my heart has been numbed to all the mushiness and joy of newborns (just fears after waiting so long I think), but seeing everyone's littles and hearing how worthwhile it is even when things are so hard is really encouraging!

First day working at home. It was nice not having to come into the office in this weather. I have yet another cold from DD. I am really doubting at this point that everyone will be healthy when we have a newborn It's been nonstop at our house.

Today is a long one at work. 13.5hr shift. FML. At least part of it is just sitting at the receptionist desk answering the phone.
A has seemed abnormally quiet the last couple days. Contractions have become more noticeable but nothing that makes me feel like keeping track of them. Maybe my dad will be right and she'll come early. Hopefully, not. I need at least one or two more paychecks to not feel like I'm freaking out.

sunshiney big hugs. I haven't felt bonded at all this pregnancy due to all my complications and extra testing. I've worried the entire time that I wansnt going to get to bring a baby home at the end. All that changed the first time I held her and I feel very much connected now.

A may get to come home tonight! She's been in an open crib since 5 yesterday and so far so good with keeping her temp up. She has to make it 24 hours and still needs to pass her carseat test. I'm trying to not get too excited in case it doesn't happen but I'm so ready for her to be home.

Baby is head down! What a relief. She's measuring at the 39th percentile and is about 6 pounds now. Likely no more ultrasounds since everything looks good.

sunshiney, Hugs lady. Not having been in your shoes, I can still see where those would be concerns for you. Up until recently, I've been so concerned that I won't feel as bonded to this baby because of how long it has taken to get even mildly excited. Feelings often change after birth and I hope your worries have been for nothing! I didn't feel as connected to DS2's pregnancy as I was with DS1 and had those fears but as soon as I was holding him, they went away. tngrl3, That's news that would be so hard not to get excited by! I hope nothing disrupts that timeline for you notagoddess, Always excellent news when you find out baby is headed the right direction. I was so nervous at my appointment last week because the week before, my midwife wasn't sure exactly how A was positioned in there. We have our last ultrasound tomorrow morning and I can't wait! It's also H's birthday so we're going for breakfast beforehand.

Contractions have picked up in frequency today. I think they'd probably go away if I was better hydrated but today has been so busy that I keep forgetting to drink more.

I think weāve talked about this before, but I love the baby connect app. tracks feedings, diapers, sleep, height and weight stats etc. I still use it for the boys to keep track of their height and weight growth.

We are home!!!!!!! Officially a family of 5. It's been a crazy evening to say the least as DS and DD1 were both so excited to get to finally meet her. Hopefully the rest of the night goes relatively smoothly.

thelittleredm Iāve been having contractions for weeks and nada š tngrl3 Iām so happy for you and your family! What amazing news!! ā¤ļø I had my last NST this afternoon. Iām 2cm and almost fully effaced. She stripped my membranes again so Iāve been crampy and uncomfortable but she did it on Monday and same thing but no baby. Heās down to about 72 hours to come on his own before heās evicted. Iām feeling okay about the induction. There are a lot of signs my body is ready so Iām hopeful with just a little nudge he will be happy to come out.

thelittleredm fingers crossed for you! I understand about needing the paychecks. I really wanted to work all of this week because it would mean one more whole one before maternity leave but the doctor said on Monday no more work. Yay America for lack of paid leave! š”

strawberrykiki, Right?? So frustrating. I mean, we have everything we need and then some saved up to cover 12 weeks of no work but it'd be nice to just have a nice padded check for the first half of the month or me squeezing in all as much overtime as possible is going to be a waste.
