Here in Ohio, I have seen a zillion Steyer TV ads lately. It's so bizarre. Today on my drive to work I saw my first yard sign, for Pete. I have also seen a few Yang bumper stickers. I feel like I am living in the upside down! I've been seeing him and Bloomberg here in Northern VA. Every time I see one it pisses me off so much that they're still in things while Kamala and Castro are out. Soooooo many Steyer ads during the Sunday shows

Soo many Steyer mailers here in Nevada. Probably three a week.
When I think of the things that could have been done with all that money that would actually help people...bleh.

Lots of steyer here but I’ve only seen one mailer in Idaho
In my purple area I’ve yet to see yard signs or stickers

Beto won’t ever be elected to a statewide office (Gov, etc) in Texas. His gun stance (while not wrong) is too polarizing.
I am hopeful Castro takes on Abbott/Patrick for Gov or Lt Gov. They are truly awful and a good Dem challenger has a real chance.
I’ve been seeing a lot of Pete stickers, and a bunch of Warren stickers too. Well....in between the MAGA stickers because this is TX 🙄
I’m shocked Bernies fundraising numbers were as high as they were.
I’m ready to get this show on the road. It’s been over a year of campaigning and I’m tired of the “who will it be”. Let’s name a nominee and create the political war machine that will beat Trump.
I’m in a weird mood tonight. Lol

I am just so mad that this is the field of candidates right now. So mad. If we end up with some old white man as the nominee...

C'mon NY, why are you so red upstate?

I wonder if Castro could look at a statewide Texas race. IIRC, no Senate openings in 2022, but what if he could pull off something like governor, lt. governor, or AG sooner? I don't follow Texas all that much, and have the sense that O'Rourke had more of a statewide organization, so it might be really interesting to see what those two do in the next six months or so. Although, although Texas seems like it's edging a bit more to the left, I think both would have to move back to center, at least, to campaign. Just random thoughts while baking some potatoes and realizing my primary is not all that far away either. I've been joking/predicting a brokered convention, but gosh I don't know if I really truly want to see one. Personally, I think Beto ended his Texas statewide political career the moment he said, "Hell yeah, we're going to take your AR-15's" I've been wondering if Castro will run for Governor in 2022 I think it’s going to depend on the 2020 elections. There’s been a lot of talk that Texas is turning blue, but the proof is in the pudding as they say. Castro is similar to Beto in that he’s either really loved or really hated here, there’s no in between. I definitely don’t think he’s done with politics.

Yang seems to be popular among the young yuppie liberals with disposable income. The hipsters and activists are more for Bernie, but the wealthier, upper middle class millennials and Gen Z seem to favor Yang.

I'm listening to Juliàn on the echo while I mop and, once again, he is SPEAKING. He didn't win this race but he sure shaped it. And what he is saying about the nominating process is so. Spot. On.

Hello, I'm also angry about the current candidate situation. I'm still moping about Kamala, and Castro and Booker were my next choices. I know Booker is still in but it doesn't look promising long-term.
Just wtf. I've been mostly avoiding all things politics the last few weeks, I just keep sinking into a funk about all of if.

Somehow over the course of the last three days I went from probably caucusing for Booker to being a precinct captain for his campaign. I’m still not sure how it happened, but here we are. I’m hoping that I can make him viable in our town, and if not, we can ensure our entire block moves to the next candidate together, in order to have the most impact.

I'm really hoping he has a good showing in our state. He moved up to the top of my list to caucus for once Castro was out. I have no idea what kind of showing he will have in my precinct. We are very suburbs now so I literally have no idea. There are two signs in the neighborhood; one for Biden and one for Warren, and the Warren one is my mom. I'll be interested to see what happens. I would love to be more out front organizing but I will have my 2 year old and 4 year old in tow so I fear I wouldn't be able to pay full attention to what needs to be done. Maybe I will search out and see if someone is organizing in my precinct so I can see what it is looking like.

I just threw Cory some money. His website does a good job getting a few extra bucks...after my donation it asked if I wanted to donate another $3 to get Cory Booker sticker. Why yes, yes I do.

Suburb to DSM, but also very distinctly separate, with a small town feeling. We have a small but mighty democratic contingency. Most signs here are for Pete, so I’m guessing it’ll be Pete, Warren/Biden, Sanders, followed by whoever can scrape together enough for viability. I’m hoping I can talk to the other likely non viable captains beforehand and come up with a game plan. I’ll have my 6yo with me, so here’s hoping she acts right.

At his campaign stop this week, he said women from Iowa were his largest donating body over the last couple of months. I though that was interesting.

Hmm...I thought you were college town north of DSM for some reason. I am suburb of DSM as well. I was just telling someone yesterday my top three prediction (in no particular order) was Pete, Warren, and Sanders. Although it would be easy to slide Biden in place of any of them. I think Booker very well could fit into that 5th slot if he can stay viable at enough locations. I think he really resonates with women because of his genuine kindness and approach to gentle unity. He is passionate and compassionate and those really stand out in a field of men yelling at us.

I think I mentioned college town N of Des Moines because I go to a lot of political events there, since candidates like college students. I’m right between DSM and said college town. I’m probably not technically a suburb, more of a suburb to a suburb.

Prepare yourself for the most emails you've ever gotten from a candidate. I've donated to a few people, and actually unsubscribed from Cory's email list because I was getting 5-10 a day from them.

I wonder why they can't realize that it is just clutter and annoyance. Doesn't seem that difficult to understand.

Tbf, I do think that he shows more insight into many of the cyber-issues facing the world in the coming decade than the other primary candidates.

Warren released her plan for Protecting the Rights & Equality of People with Disabilities today.
I am very impressed by the number, diversity, and quality of the people she consulted to develop it. It’s a good plan.
