I just asked H if he was excited about Kamala, and his response was “didn’t she put a lot of poor people in jail?” GDI, man.
FWIW, he’s not super excited about anyone who’s announced yet. He’s team Biden. Asked who he would vote for in the current field, he said Warren.

Our boy Jacob Wahl is on twitter today with birtherism 2.0 saying Senator Harris is not eligible to be president because her parents are immigrants and she spent part of her childhood in Canada.
Funny how this only comes up with Black candidates.

I'm trying not to set myself up for a broken heart if (when?) Kamala doesn't get the nomination, but I love her so much. I promised myself I wouldn't get invested in the primary and would go all in once we have a candidate. And here I am, ready to throw all of my money at her.

I'm extremely excited by her (not sure that's been clear LOLLLL) but, truly, I would happily give my full backing to any of the candidates who have announced. The candidate pool is really solid, we just each have our favorites. What worries me is the people who seem to have gone to their corners for one candidate and really hate everyone else. I don't think that's going to help us have a robust primary. |

I love KH. LOVE LOVE LOVE But I unfortunately don’t think the country at large is ready for her. I hope that I’m wrong, but I don’t think a female president is happening in 2020. I'm hopeful that it is a women's time to become POTUS. Enough people are so burnt by Trump and so angry about our current state that I feel like the need for a big change among Dems is on the horizon. Especially with fired up younger and minority voters. And considering four women have already thrown their hats in the ring and it's making waves makes me feel a glimmer of hope. Or maybe I'm just KH drunk, which is also possible. I'll be crushed if she isn't the Dem nominee. I mean, I'll get behind whoever is picked, but gosh I'm 100000% on the KH train. |

I don't know who the right answer is. Harris and other females will piss off the mysogynist left and right. Bernie and his Bros have left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths. Biden will bring in a lot of moderate Republicans and the mysogynist left, but not necessarily the more progressive left.
However, I am very much on the #hagfish2020 train at this point so I will vote for any of them in the general.
