guster hope the night improves! I have done a lot of EI, but they have all been before kids could talk..and typically Motrin or Tylenol was sufficient. If it does rupture the pain should disappear immediately though, which is scary to see blood on sheets (just warning you in case that happens).

Finally got Cadence asleep. Mh left for his friend's party, but I could clearly hear dudes talking. It freaked me out, I thought someone was in our backyard. Nope, neighbors are having a party and they are just freaking LOUD.

Poor Chase got sick again.  I heard him start coughing so I went in to see if I could get him to sit up to calm things down. He was awake so I asked if he wanted to sit with me in the glider and he said yes. He then sat up and threw up. Fortunately DH cleared out his sheet and blanket immediately while I cleaned him up, so at least his room doesn't smell. But he's so sad and mopey, but I put him down after rocking him for about 20 minutes. I'm keeping his door open so I can hear him better but it could be a long night. |

Humidifier or vicks rub? Maybe some cold peppermint tea in the morning. If he is old enough for hard candy you might find cough drops work. I love cepacol for cough. I hope you all can get through the night with a little sleep. |

flamingo I really liked bird box!! guster your poor H! But really... poor you!! joelies so much puke! 😕😕😕 I hope he feels better!! So, our friends came over for NYE... with other friends! Lol, I remember her telling me like a month ago that her husbands college friend might be in town, but we never talked about it again! When we talked about it I had told her to totally bring them over, but in the last week of talking she never brought it up again. Totally no big deal except dh and I were both like who are these people when the doorbell rang and I would have cleaned up a bit more!! Also.. I’m on my way to drunk.

Hi!! We went to friends a block away for dinner/drinks. Expected to be home by 8:30/9. Stayed till midnight. I can’t believe the kids lasted so long!!! But B, my little partner was up and ready to keep Hong. S was done and ready to go home.
I had way too much to drink and will definitely regret this tomorrow

But I managed to suck at parenting tonight. Sorry H. M did call me out for the countdown. Buts it’s 2am and I’m still up. It’s going to be a rough morning if the kids don’t sleep in. |

Happy new year! I watched bird box then went to bed before 11. I thought the movie was good.
Today our babysitter is coming at 11 and I’ll go to the gym and grocery store solo. Looking forward to it.

slenle, late to the conversation but they sounds like terrible hosts! We had a party and provided all the food and booze. People still ended up bring stuff, but it wasn't expected. So they did have a couple of bottles of booze set out and a crockpot of sloppy Joe’s. There weren’t as many people as expected so we didn’t have to use the garage. And the kids movie in the basement ended just in time to catch the 11pm countdown so it ended up being a bit better than i was expecting. We got home around 11:30 and dh and I opened a bottle of champagne for the countdown. The kids did not sleep in as long as I was hoping for! |
