I'm waiting on a friend for dinner and drinks. We both want time alone to bitch about our families but I'd be ok with dinner by myself.
She just texted she's on her way. Should be good time though

Thanks for the suggestions. I do have a box mix of brownies and if all else fails I could whip those up.
However both kids have been coughing forever and after dinner - which S had exactly 2 bites of, he felt warm to me. Temp was only 99 but we’ll see how the night goes- we may have to cancel anyway
He keeps complaining that the 2 ‘teeth’ In his throat hurt

I took the ornaments off the tree. That’s as far as I got. Come visit me so we can complain about how cold it is. I’d like to know what temperature “cold” is so I can laugh at you two for being babies!😉 Yeah, I think it was 32 when we were sledding today and I was sweating in all my snow gear. |

What a day.
MH was putting on the moves and I told him to back off and needed 10 km of personal space.
Julia is running around the house yelling ‘I’m Darth Vader’
B is watching Justin Time and going into detail about how we have so many places to travel. Thanks Justin and Olive 😐.
Then I went to take a shower and Julia was banging on the door yelling ‘I miss you!’ Over and over. So I brought her in bathroom when I was out of the shower and this happened.

I need to go back to work.

I go back to work on the 2nd, and MH is back Jan7th, I think I’m taking 7th off for some quiet/recoup time. So, not until the 8th to we resume regular scheduled programming. |

C actually took a 2.5 hr nap today! It was great but he’s nowhere near ready for bed and has school tomorrow. The high was 50 today!!! |

I’m freezing all of the time since losing weight but previously I would have been wearing flip flops in 50 degree weather an no jacket. Just a sweatshirt. |

I threw up my dinner in the bathroom at the restaurant. I barely made it there so I threw up in the trash can. So then I had to tell them so they could change the bag.. super fun conversation. The waitress was so sweet though and brought me a stack of crackers to settle my stomach. I told her manager before I left how thoughtful she was. I hope she gets some recognition for it.

I like the reassurance of the nausea until I can feel movement but it's getting to be every meal and for everything. I threw up water today.. carbs used to be safe but I had very bland fries and they didnt stay down either. |

Hi we made it home. I’m happy to be home, but I feel like absolute shit, which I know is a combo of missed meds and my period. I keep picking stupid fights with dh.
Hope fully a good night sleep helps. I’ll update you guys on everything tomorrow

nam2013 I have to ask, how much did that charcuterie dinner cost you the other day and how many people was it for? It was for 20 people, so I had to rent tables, buy linens and some deco. That cost around €100. I had asked people to bring stuff, so for example my aunt brought the charcuterie & wine, my other aunt brought bruschetta and tiramisu, my mom brought pizza bread pieces & beer. If I had to do it all myself I think I’d had spend around €300 (that would include everything). Now it was around €175. |

nam2013 I don’t think i commented at the time but it was a beautiful spread—Like something in a magazine. Entertaining is expensive and a lot of work but I love the feeling of everything looking perfect and having friends/family together and enjoying it all.

So I think it is a side effect |

It’s great in the summer because I don’t get too hot, except the last couple of days at Disney in September, but winter is freezing! |

She’s improved 💯 except for a bright red bottom, but that doesn’t seem to be bothering her much since we’ve been using the magical rash cream concoction. |
