Yes, we're watching the OU/Bama game too. Poor Oklahoma. SEC pride and all, but darn I'm getting tired of Bama winning everything. I *was* very happy to see my Gators win today, I feel like we're on the road to being "back".
We saw part of the ND/Clemson game. Neither team is my favorite but I took pleasure in watching ND get exposed, yet again (not sure if we have any ND fans here...if so, sorry!)

We had our date night tonight...got to the restaurant early enough to have drinks at the bar, and then a really nice dinner. The sitter kept the kids alive and the house didn't burn down, so I'll count that as a win!

Had a great afternoon out with my little guy. We went to the mall and did some shopping then play area. Red Robin where he behaved amazingly and finished all his food. Then walked to barnes and noble where we found a Christmas joke book on the 50% off table. Then a smooth bedtime.

Kids are in bed. Not sleeping, but staying in bed so that’s a win considering the late nap.
We’re starting bird box. Not my style of movie but I’m giving it a try.

I got the times for the "dinner" party wrong, so we were all set to arrive just as it was ending. In my defense she wrote about a paragraph via text that I read through really fast and saw "5 or 6 o'clock". I assumed that was the time to arrive, not depart by. My bad.
We were all packed up in the car by the time I double checked, so we went bowling instead and had a blast. Theo, especially, was thrilled and celebrated after every roll. It was a successful pivot 😉

We just got home from my in laws. I teared up saying bye to their dog but held it together because I don’t think my SIL has talked to her girls yet about what’s going on and I didn’t want to upset everybody. Here are the kids with Libby. She was their favorite dog because the other dog is. Newfie who drools puddles and steals kisses on the face all the time.  |

Hi ladies. We went to the zoo yesterday to surprise ds. He’s been talking about this place for months since they have a panda and he had never seen one (well neither had I). It is lovely to be at the cabin again and I can’t wait to go explore the outdoors today.

Re New Year’s plans just Dh and I in our cabin, I’ll be surprised if I make it to 12 😂😂😂. We’ve come along way since celebrating on the banks of the Thames in London and at the scare coeur overlooking Paris 😜.

Morning! My kids were up a bunch. C was up twice screaming (MH dealt with that), A woke once to eat and L woke up once because she wanted a ponytail and once because she said there was a scary fish in her room...

My migraine hit an all time high as I was going to bed last night but it's gone this morning. Thank God. Hoping to do something fun with the boys today since I was a lump yesterday.

DH went out for donuts; C slept til 8:15, bless her, and B is fairly self-sufficient in the mornings so that was great.
Looks like more grey, dreary weather here today. I think we’re going to take down some of the Christmas stuff but not sure what else is on the agenda.

Morning. Chase threw up all over his bed this morning, I assume from coughing because it was bad. It always is between about 4 and 7am. He's fine, a bit too hyper for my liking. I had to email my friends so they have the option of not coming over, though I hope they still come. Chase doesn't hide it well when he doesn't feel good, and he's clearly feeling fine.

Morning! We took the bus home yesterday and I was happy to get home. We had a great time in the city and enjoyed seeing Waitress on Friday night. My SIL and FIL are coming over for a visit today but it conflicts with my SM's family lunch at maggiono's, so I am going to that solo. I'm not ready to take down Christmas yet, so maybe next week.

I’m going to take the Christmas tree down and put my nutcrackers away today. I’m hoping MH will take M to the movies during H’s nap so I can have a couple hours of quiet time.

Morning. I think we’ve reached our max of holiday togetherness.... Dh is in a mood this morning. He invited people over for the Vikings game later and is making a soup recipe that he found. He normally doesn’t cook so our kitchen is a disaster and he’s crabby.
I’m hoping they come for the game and leave when it’s done. I’m over hosting for a while.

Good morning. MH is a crab today and I’m sick of having to be the one to get up at 6:30am with the kids. So I’m not really interested in dealing with him or his mood.
I might take the kids to the pool or something to get out of the house.
There are still Christmas gifts that haven’t been taken out of the box yet either bc of mh’s crazy rules. So maybe the kids and i will open and play with those new toys.

We are lounging around. It’s cold and I really want to do something but we’ve gone to the arcade, movies, and trampoline park so much recently and there’s not much else to do. The children’s museum here is a bit young for C without the outdoor stuff to do. I miss living in Boston on days like today. We could go to the aquarium and walk around different places. Sigh.
