I want to dip Charlie in purell. His nose is a fountain and he’s tissue successful maybe half the time. He also only wants to cuddle so I’m covered in it. Maybe I need a purell dip, too.

There are still Christmas gifts that haven’t been taken out of the box yet either bc of mh’s crazy rules. So maybe the kids and i will open and play with those new toys. Your children must be so patient!! |

tgrimes did you H finish the pantry? Although a huge mess he has way more initiative than my H. It would never occur to him. For the most part. It’s a Christmas miracle! There’s still some items on the counter that need to find a home. He loves to cook so it benefits him to clean it out. He’s also looking for a spot for his vitamix he got for Christmas. |

Good morning. MH is a crab today and I’m sick of having to be the one to get up at 6:30am with the kids. So I’m not really interested in dealing with him or his mood. I might take the kids to the pool or something to get out of the house. There are still Christmas gifts that haven’t been taken out of the box yet either bc of mh’s crazy rules. So maybe the kids and i will open and play with those new toys. If you're the one getting up every morning I say you let them open all the toys and go nuts! All of our toys are open except some lego/building sets C got that we are working through. |

guster Right there with you on the Purell dip, that is basically what I wanted to do yesterday when we left the indoor playground. I had both the kids bathe when we got home, lol. Everything is open here; I let B do part of the dino dig kit yesterday and that was the last 'intact' thing. Which reminds me, I really need to do t-y notes today. Probably should go knock those out right now.

I'm awake, but laying in bed. I was going to take Cadence to Target for new shoes to wear with her new braces, but she told me to take the braces with me so she could stay home.
It's cold and rainy and I don't really want to go either, but the shoes are necessary. Maybe in a little bit I'll will myself out of my warm cozy bed.
The tree and outside lights are down, but there is still some decor to put away. I'll do that today....maybe....

Most of our toys are open. There are a few games and 1 race track toy not open. LO hasn’t asked (mostly because they are tucked away) but I’m sure it will be a fun surprise on the days he’s with just grandma and grandpa.

DD and I took down the tree and now MH is mopping the floors downstairs. I’m in C’s room trying to interest him in toys but he only likes sticking stuff in electrical outlets and standing on tables. We may brave Dave and Busters later because the kids got gift cards from family for Christmas.

Morning all. We had a great time at our friends pot luck dinner last night and the kids did so well. It’s so nice to go places and we can visit with friends while the kids all play together.
We all woke up later today, just been lounging and doing laundry. Purged some more kids toys today, so other than the Christmas stuff that comes down on the 1st we’re all organized over here.

I just took 8 bags of donations over to Savers. Mostly clothes but some toys and linens. All of our toys are open from Christmas but we have 7 Lego sets from his birthday that haven’t been touched. I’ve tucked them away for now.
I also donated three gifts. A 300 piece wooden block set and two cheap remote control cars. He got 5 remote control cars so he won’t notice two missing.

My mil has been asking to go with us to something fun so I'm waiting until the 5 PM showing of the new grinch and we're all going then to dinner. I showed the boys the trailer and they're excited. They're eating lunch now then laying down for naps.
I cant keep anything down today and my blood sugar keeps bottoming out. I need to find something I can eat.... trying to talk A into getting me chipotle. Idk if it'll stay down but its the only thing that doesnt make me gag thinking about it. I'm currently hiding in our room because he made them pizza rolls and the smell did me in.

Slow morning here. We have to make a wally world run and I want to get through my bathroom linen closet that has everything other than linens in it.
Not much else on the agenda today. I have to work tomorrow until 130, and then I told M we would go to see Bumblebee. We should probably go get a few fireworks, too.

T got a small air hockey table that also converts to basketball, ping pong, and rebounds. He loves it but the pegs for the ping pong net are broken. I emailed the company and got a generic we have received your message and will get back to you in a few days. It has legs that you can remove to make it table top.

Cs favorite has been this  It was quite flimsy putting it together and I doubted it would work but it’s much more sturdy built and pretty cool. |

We ended up at the arcade and the trampoline park. Dh is taking some time to himself now so I can switch off later. I am hoping to clean the toys in the basement and organize the downstairs toy closet. We purged in October so I don’t think there will be anything to purge but a lot to organize.

Also there’s like 20 kids in the dodgeball court and this mom had her 2ish year old out there with his big brother. He looks terrified and keeps crying. He will likely get trampled. I wish staff would tell her he needs to go before he gets hurt.

So my dr never returned my phone call so I could get my anxiety meds, baby C has a fever, you can tell my MIL is over having houseguests and dh is being a dick.... so we left a day early and are heading home today. I can’t wait to get home and climb in a bubble bath. Only seven hours on the road.
