Just got the call every parent/guardian dreads "I'm getting arrested" R was at a party (who parties on Thursday nights?!) And it was busted by the police. He was in a line to be breathalized and is certain he'll fail.. just waiting on the call for where to go and how much.

I'm cracking up lfig , I have definitely had the over-plucked look myself. I think that is a hazard of having very heavy (natural) brows, it's so tempting to go in the extreme opposite direction. I happened upon the bed that I've been lusting over for years, it's on clearance and apparently being discontinued. :sob: We had planned to wait til we're in our next house to redo our bedroom (we still have the NMS set DH bought as a bachelor, bc I'm afraid to risk damaging new stuff in the move) but I am so. freaking. tempted to at least get the bed. Or rather, attempt to nag DH into submission since I doubt he will be as tempted  Do it! And tell me which bed it is. He asked last night which color I would want soooo maybe he's considering it? IDK though. Even on sale it's still a lot of money to spend randomly. We could maybe get a bit for it—it’s decent quality but just a very masculine style :/ I’d probably keep the side pieces we have for now and replace them over time while we live here. |

If you use it for 20 years that's like $85 per year. Obviously not my money, but I say, if it makes you happy, and you guys can swing it... get it!

I just got back from the kids’ annual checkups. Z failed her eye test. It said astigmatism. The Dr assured me that it has to do with the shape of her cornea and NOT screen time. Regardless, I’m concerned. I guess tomorrow I’ll be calling a pediatric eye Dr. Anyone else’s kids fail their eye test?! X has an astigmatism and failed his test. He saw the ophthalmologist awhile ago and they said at this age, unless it’s really bad, they just like to do annual check-ups and see how things progress. Maybe in a couple years, he’s going to need glasses. Me, my sister, and dad all have one, too, so I just chalked it up to my crappy genes. |

If you use it for 20 years that's like $85 per year. Obviously not my money, but I say, if it makes you happy, and you guys can swing it... get it! Agreed, the sale price is fantastic. And yes, this would definitely be a long-term piece...that's why I want something classic, b/c I could see us literally having it for decades. I just emailed our saleslady that we've worked with before and asked her to check inventory, lol. |

flamingo buy it! It looks great. You can always keep it in the box and store it until your done moving. That way it won’t get damaged. Or just use it.

We had nickel beers at Cluck U on Mondays...my girlfriend and I would go after our afternoon classes but before our 5 pm one. There were definitely times I sat through Candy Carmel's (yes, that was her name) class on materials and finishes with a bit of a buzz. |

I thought about having it delivered to my parents' house--Lord knows they have tons of room--but my dad is inching towards downsizing and would probably draw the line at keeping a bed for us for 15 months, lol. |

I know! She made fun of it herself...she eventually got married and hyphenated her last name so she was Candy Carmel-whatever, I guess because she was a PhD and had published research, etc. Personally, I would have said 'to heck with it' and dropped the Carmel! |
