Also have a question. M asked Santa for a skateboard and helmet this past week and I don’t think he would do well with one, so I didn’t get it. He mentioned it today and I felt kind of guilty that I didn’t get it. He didn’t make a big deal about it, just asked where it was. I told him skateboards are for 6 year olds and maybe he would get one next year. I don’t even know where he got the idea. Would anyone else have bought a skateboard? C has been asking for one for 2 yrs. I told him we could get one this summer but I want to find someone who could help teach him since I will be of no use there. Last summer I got him a two wheel razor scooter and told him that was the next step to a skateboard. That tided him over for a while. I believe @cagoldis A is using one already. Yeah, Dude has had a skateboard since his birthday and had previously practiced a little on my sister’s, with her help. He wears elbow and knee pads, plus a helmet, of course. He’s getting better, but I wouldn’t exactly call what he does skateboarding LOL. More like clinging to the nearest adult for dear life then getting up the courage to push off a few times, slowly and gently. He’s pretty cautious by nature. I agree that a scooter is a great precursor and he has had a Razor for a couple years. He practically lives on that thing in the summer and we take him up to the jogging trail with that.

Yay, tallb! chrisy01 is definitely the DL expert. As to Legoland, the boys had a blast. This time of year, I think you’re okay to spend only one day there because I doubt you’ll want to do the water park and the crowds shouldn’t be too terrible. They do have a lot of areas and rides that cater to little kids so N would have plenty to keep her occupied.

My family typically always does place cards for holiday meals, typically Thanksgiving. I've never thought anything about it But for just 6 people? Oh. No. That's weird!

I think she must have had second thoughts about it. It ended up being 9 people, but 4 of them were kids, so there really was no point for it.
