dapostrophe happy anniversary! I will look for a schmaltzy FB post  MIL eats crackers for me in a lot of ways so I try to keep that in mind when I’m considering stuff like this, but I’d swear some of this she does on purpose 😬

Gingerbread house fell on the floor and shattered. I had to run to Walgreens to grab a new one. I got it together, hopefully it stays together so she can decorate it.

Christmas party last night was fun. We got home before 10, but Im still tired today. H is out getting a haircut and he may go talk to a different dealership about a car. Im hoping he doesnt want me to go. I need to get some groceries and clean the house, but motivation is greatly lacking. vino I hope your H came home in a good mood yesterday. Hiiii! I went to running group this morning and did 13 miles. I was slower than usual but I felt okay. I'm pretty tired right now but Chase is napping and DH went on a secret shopping trip with Colin, so I plan on napping soon. Then we have dinner plans with my brother and SIL before the Santa Express, which the kids still don't know about. I'm bringing all the changes of clothes just in case, but hoping for an uneventful night!

mwhip He came home fine. He had 3-4 drinks in a long time period but still knew it wasn’t good to drive, the party ended super early so he was just kinda stuck there. Thanks for thinking of me 🙂 And thanks everyone for your concern, the constant guessing of ups and downs are really exhausting sometimes. Posting season is coming up and we’ll know by end of Feb where he’s going, so that’ll be another something to deal with.

Hi!
It was a busy morning getting ready for the cleaning lady. She showed up earlier than I was expecting, but she offered to go get breakfast and come back so that gave me the time I needed to finish getting ready to be out.
MH took M to a birthday party, and M2 and I are out and about getting stocking stuffers. My mom is on the way to visit and I’m hoping she’ll be ok with watching the kids tonight so MH and I can go out. Fingers crossed!

Hi hi, off to a bumpy start here. J kept me up most of the night rolling in bed. Mh got up at 7 with them and I slept a bit more. Then I tested a new spin place in our new town, and I was unimpressed. It had the resistance and rpm digital and would call out instructions based on that and I never felt like I was doing well. And they had scented candles, which I don't like to begin with, but hate for cardio. And then after the class they email you how you did...I got 10/10 - so last place! Lol. I don't know how accurate and I didn't have a heart rate monitor so it said I burned 5 calories. I am kind of grouchy about this - I did not want or care to see that info. Makes me feel crappy for paying to go to a class to exercise. So I'll be either cancelling class pass or driving back to my regular studios.
Now I'm waiting for the chimney sweep who claims he came by around 6 last night but no one was home(um curtains were open and we were watching a movie in the living room). Then going to a winter solstice party later.

Dh and I went to lunch then finished wrapping. The only thing we have left is to build a hot wheels track, which we probably won’t do until next weekend. Then I napped and I feel better. C will be home any minute with my parents.

Right before they got to our street C threw up all over the backseat and himself. My dad is super particular about his car so his blood pressure went up for sure! C had some diarrhea but seems ok otherwise. Apparently his lunch was French fries, one chicken finger, a milkshake and ice cream. Followed by an hour long drive. I’m guessing it was that and not actual illness.

Mine usually means well enough, but there are somethings she does/says that make me like "really woman?" And no schmaltzy posts this year. I turned off the auto posting to my timeline a long time ago...after she announced Theo's name to the world and tagged me in it before we'd told anyone. It's better this way for both of us 😉 |

Can we talk about next stage car seats. So up until i got to BBB I was convinced that I needed a high back booster with the 5 point harness, but there are little choices and they seem super bulky.
Am I a weirdo and just need to get over it and that he’s ok in a high back booster and use the seatbelt?

Am I a weirdo and just need to get over it and that he’s ok in a high back booster and use the seatbelt? Evies doctor asked me what car seat we were using. We do have a 5 point harness in my car, which is what she is in most of the time. In Hs car, we have thr high back booster that you use the seatbelt with and her doctor said based off her size, its totally fine. Evie prefers the seatbelt booster, I think it gives her the ability to move more. |

I took a 2 hour nap. It was amazing. The little girl from across the street randomly showed up this afternoon, so Im letting Evie play for a bit before we go to the grocery store.

His Dr said he should be in the five point until six years old because even though he’s big enough, his bones aren’t strong enough. Makes sense but lately I’ve noticed it’s getting harder and harder to buckle around the crotch. If it had one more slit to move it out it would be fine but as it is I struggle daily with it. I’m going to stick with the 5pt as long as possible but will likely move before age six to the belt. |

Now that Dh has the truck and we use that as our primary car, I’ve been meaning to switch her seats. We don’t use my car for any travel out of town so I’d be more comfortable having her in the dealt belt in my car and the 5 pt in his truck that we use more. |

That was the most anxiety filled gingerbread house decorating ever. I didn't realize my friend was so high strung about candy and cleanliness. If I had, I wouldn't have done it there.
Plus, her girl yells everything, which makes her yell in response.
It was way too loud and I left with a headache.
