So do you call back missed calls at work that didn't leave a voicemail? I just got chewed out by a customer because "you're so hard to get a hold of!" But she called and didn't leave a voice mail. She left one but it was just blank, like she forgot to end the call, she didn't talk or anything. When I said "well I didn't see a voicemail from you" She said "well I don't like to talk to those little machines" well if you had talked to the little machine I would have known you needed called back.. Only if it's someone from my firm.

Speaking of pets, I keep wanting to ask peachsmama what kind of cat she has. He looks very similar to my Korat:

You know inthekitty , we haven't seen pics of your pets in a really long time! I'll try to get online tonight and load some photos. I'm super lazy about getting on photo sharing websites for the code. I liked it when we could just copy and paste. Denver John is a very handsome young man, if I must say. Lily is the master of the sweet and dopey smile.

My best friend found him in a restaurant parking lot as a kitten. I think wedding has said he looks like maine coon? But I'm not sure. He's fat as hell and feisty.

lahdeedah, is it just you and Cher that are at the end of your pregnancies or do we have anyone else? I believe that is correct.

No. If someone does not leave a message then I assume it is not important. Also, how do you know who to ask for once you have called back a missed caller that didn't leave a message?

The caller ID was a mans name but it was a woman I spoke with.

In my case, I get my voicemails/missed calls in my email so I can see everyone's names & extentions. If it's not in my firm, I don't call them back.

Calling back to missed calls with no VM is an olds move. My mom does that constantly and it drives me crazy. Of course a lot of the time it was just a misdial; they didn't leave a message because it was an errant call in the first place. I think olds felt obligated to do something about all of those missed phone calls once caller ID joined the field and didn't realize prior to caller ID they survived just fine not returning missed calls without a message.

I don't know what is going on but when I walked out from putting H down for her nap there was a fire truck across the street. I watched for a little while and the firefighters walked out of the house alone. I hope everyone over there is ok. I did let H come out to see the fire truck before it left.

chrisy01 good for you for pushing back. Give an inch and they'll take a mile. I return internal calls from colleagues and my clients even if they don't leave a VM. Hell no to doing that for outside callers. H just got back from his vasectomy with instructions to sit on his ass and not do anything for 3-5 days. That's more restrictive than for my c-sections! I believe him, because he's that guy who always wants to push limits when he should rest, but geez.

My dad took B with him to the hardware store, and Mom is out getting her hair done...if I can just get C down for a late-afternoon nap, I can take one too.
Say a prayer to the nap gods for me...

I saw the snap...but none of fire fighters. Couldn't you pretend you were taking a pic of the truck again? COME ON TRTL! WE'VE TAUGHT YOU BETTER THAN THIS!

Nope, not ever. I purposefully don't have my voicemail set up either. I give all of my service members my email and anyone else that needs to talk to me can find me on global to email or call again later. It even irritates me when someone else pulls my phone to "take a message."

Weird day around here. One of my coworkers got into an argument with my director. Loudly, in front of a service member. Super awkward. She wants to do something against the regulation for this guy to "help him out" and my director won't let her make the change. He's right, she's wrong. But man she got pissed!
