**TW** I haven’t posted in awhile. Jumping back in because I’m wide awake at 1am. I just woke up from a dream where I saw the faces of my three losses from this year. I gave them names and said goodbye. It was the longest strangest dream I’ve ever had. It felt so so real. Now I’m up waiting for this LO to move in my stomach so I can talk myself out of thinking it had something to do with this pregnancy

bex15, I used this one with A and loved it www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N6OXR50/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I did get it monogrammed with a pink A, so have another on my list for the boys. I may eventually get them each one to use as their own daycare/backpack. Just finished my glucose test. Had a chilled lemon lime and it was foul. I wanted the fruit punch but he wouldn't let me pick. I would have put up a bigger stink if he had handed me orange. Here's hoping I don't need the 3 hour. I should know by Monday.

Oh, I think we have a first name for one of the boys!! Liam (short for William). Woot! Now to figure out another first name and two middle names. Boys names were hard enough when we thought we'd only need one name, let alone 2!

Can you strain your vulva or something like that? H and I went bowling last night (26+5) for a friend’s surprise birthday party. I was careful, but every time I move my vulva hurts. Maybe I just pulled some muscles?? Baby is moving, so I don’t think there’s anything seriously wrong, but ouch!

I am so ready to get my house back. My ILs are staying with us for another week because they are kind enough to watch DD for us next W-F so we don't have to take off work. Also, we are taking a small babymoon Sun and Monday night so they are staying then. I'm getting a prenatal massage and I'm so excited.
I love them, but our house feels so small when they are here, and little things start to bug. This morning, DD was getting stir crazy and my MIL just sat and did Sudoku while I got both of us ready and walked her to the library for a bit. She needed some fresh air... or maybe I did! 🤪
They want to come as soon as the twins are on the way, but I'm not sure. Last time I was a complete hormonal mess for about a week. Night sweats, etc. Just ugh. I'm thinking that they can come a week or two after we're home, to give us a chance to get settled first. MIL has... a lot of opinions but she tries hard not to overstep. I just know I'll want my boobs out and stuff to figure out BFing and won't feel as comfortable.
Typing this all out makes me feel like a jerk because we really are so lucky to have them.

I'm a little in my feels because a close friend who was due 3 days after my second loss edd (which was Christmas) just had her baby today. I wish that was me and my baby was here safe and sound. I'm still so worried about not really getting this baby to come home.

Is anyone doing a paleo or similar diet while pregnant? I’m seeing my OB on 1/2 but wanted to ask here. I’m 23+3. I did a glucose test at 20 weeks because I was constantly peeing and still puking almost daily. My mg/dL was 124. My practice considers 130 a fail. I weighed myself this afternoon and 😳😳. I didn’t gain anything in 1st tri and I’m up to 12lbs now. Granted I’m super constipated 98% of the time and I’ve eaten breakfast, 2 cookies, some Mike n Ike’s and a bunch of carrots today already. But still. Would it be beneficial to start? The rapid weight gain is super concerning to me but that could just be my own paranoia. I’ll be doing another glucose test between 25 and 27 weeks. I’ve eaten paleo before (multiple rounds of the Whole 30 when I drank the CrossFit juice for 5-6 years) but I’m a FTM and admittedly batshit. I would ask your doctor, I know that’s obvious advice but here’s why. I’m seeing the whole GD team (diabetes nurse, dietician, and endocrinologist) and they’re all hyper concerned about me staying out of ketosis. I have to use the dip strips daily and report my results. Also, my dietician has been adamant that I have to consume a balanced diet and that includes proper portions of complex carbs, and if that causes my blood sugars to rise then according to her that’s the endo’s job to manage, not mine. If I avoid carbs entirely and go into ketosis he can’t see the real picture of my diabetes and can’t manage my treatment as effectively. If the rapid weight gain is concerning you, your doctor would want to hear about it. There can be lots of reasons for that, some totally benign and other times a warning sign. If you didn’t gain anything in first tri it’s probably just your body playing catch up, 12 lbs total is perfectly normal to have gained by the point you’re at, but I get what you mean that it was rapid. Everyone has their own weight gain pattern with pregnancy and it doesn’t always match the textbook, but call because that’s the OB’s job!

I wish I had wisdom on that but I can only offer a hug. I’m sorry it sucks so bad. Hope does not make bad things happen and you have every reason to be hopeful about your take home baby boy. I wish he was here safe and sound for you already too.

Eames your space is your space. It’s draining to share it, no matter how great the people are. Your reasons for wanting to wait a few weeks for them to come help totally make sense for your circumstances. The reality of any help is that it has to be wanted to be helpful. If you feel too vulnerable having them there right away, it won’t be very pleasant for anyone, even if on paper their help would make sense.

lemondrop I had a big gain in 2nd tri, but normal for 26 weeks is like 16-22 lbs, so I really would not stress.

Hugs ❤ I've been struggling a lot with the year ending and reflecting on everything that happened this year and the babies I could have had by now. I feel selfish as if I should just be thankful for this baby boy, but it's just not that simple. Feel your feelings and don't think that you have to push yours aside for your friend. My cousin is due in Feb within a week from my third loss EDD as well and while I'm happy for her I've really had to distance myself because the pain is still there. Here's to 2019, the year we bring our babies home!

Hugs Yogurt and others. I have a good friend that now has an almost 2 year old. I was supposed to have a little girl the same age. As grateful as I am about these twins, it makes me think about what our life would've looked like as a family of 4 with 2 little girls. It's gotten better, but they are complicated feelings. I also still worry a lot, even though I see the twins on ultrasound every 2 weeks. Like are they both moving? Am I going to go into labor early? Etc. I'm so glad everything has been normal so far.

I’m glad you felt the baby move nmom! Hugs Yogurt and all of us in similar positions. I too have similar feelings, and I still can’t stop worrying that something bad will happen, and I won’t get to bring this baby home. Everyday is a step closer to our take home babies!

Thanks Tlex and Yogurt! I'll definitely ask the MW I'm seeing on Wed. I lost 20lbs before getting pregnant, so I think this is really messing with my head. Logically, I know 12lbs over 10 weeks isn't a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, but I might have her refer me to a nutritionist anyway for my own piece of mind.

Yes. So much yes. Sorry DH. I’m a different person when I’m not constipated. It’s just so damn uncomfortable.
