I know you were all worried, but just so you know, I can still swim 2 miles in one sitting! That’s 141 lengths, or 3,520 yards. I did 3,600 yards! It only took and hour and 17 minutes. The aquatics department had an internal competition, and I came in 3rd (darn youngins) of who wants to swim 2 miles first in the Y pool during the month of December. So I won a Lifeguard Swag Bag full of goodies! I was going for the YMCA jacket but obviously I’m not the only one encouraged by prizes! That is so amazing and cool!!! Congrats!!!

sophiegrace You have a herniated belly button correct? Or suspected? How does pregnancy affect that? I’m impressed, good job! I hope your cold is gone soon! starbuck How are you doing with reducing soda ? Yerp! I did it when I broke form deadlifting 3.5 years ago. I rehabbed it really really well and do core almost every day. It seems like the stronger I can keep the surrounding muscles, the less often it bothers me. That an a heavy duty lifting belt whenever I’m lifting above my head (any weight) or my body weight and above for everything else. Pregnancy is weird though because of the additional pressure coming from my ute. All I did on Saturday was reach for a box of masks that were on a shelf above my head. A perfectly normal thing I do every day, but it’s a known weak movement for me and even though I didn’t have weight in my hands I guess my belly said fuck off SG. By this time with M I was wearing an elastic support belt at work, but it’s stretched out now and doesn’t fit me. It’s like $15 on amazon so you can imagine H’s reaction when he asked why I wasn’t wearing it or God forbid asked him for help. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I hurt my belly button on Saturday and my head cold felt worse so didn’t work out at all this weekend. I just want to get over this hump and start feeling just a tad more like I have control of my body again. Im impressed you are still posting in the healthy thread and you are pg. You’re doing great! Thank you!! I just feel so much better and more like myself when I keep myself moving and eating decently enough. It’s the one thing I consistently do for me. And it’s a massive advantage that H is even more motivated than me to consistently work out and eat well. I imagine that that gives me a major advantage in wanting to keep going.

It took me two days to get my weight to bounce back to where it was before this weekend. I really wrecked the shit out of myself.

My week was better than my weekend. Working out every day, eating decent. I’m still so nauseous and exhausted though. I know it’s normal and this isn’t the first go around with this, but gosh darn it I’m so sick and tired of being sick and tired. Yanno? And reeeeeally sick of myself for being tired of dealing with it. I should put some ear plugs in H’s stocking.
I think I’m going to skip T25 tonight and do that 15 minute HIIT thing I posted here before and some serious stretching. I don’t take enough time to do that.

H got this stuff called Gbutter. It’s different flavored cashew butters with a good chunk of whey protein in each serving. On the container it said you can pop a serving onto a plate and put it into the microwave. Omg. I tried it with the brownie batter flavor and it legit turned into a brownie. 200 calories, but it has 20 grams of protein. It’s probably the best food thing to happen in the house in a while. Much excite.

Accidentally scrolled past a picture of me in a bikini from Fourth of July. Oof. I guess that can be what I can work towards? Again?
I’m not going to lie, a summer due date is giving me a lot more weight gaining worries than a November one. Worries isn’t really the right word. But, dang, it was really nice healing and recuperating in leggings and sweatshirts last time.
I’m not complaining, just voicing my inner thoughts. Too much of my self worth depends on how I feel I look so it’s this terrible internal debate of me saying “look what amazing things your body can do!” And “bitch, you can work harder, lets go.” I’m aware enough to know that this is not the time to let it get to me, but I worry about how I’ll feel once the summer hits and I start wearing shorts and tanks.
