Yay peachsmama!! I loved the video, they are so cute. How are you feeling, tgrimes? Hopefully you didn't stop at 1 bloody mary. Still crampy and bleeding some. I had a greyhound after the Bloody Mary and then had to sober up before M’s well check. She sent us for blood work where I got to hold M down while she screamed bloody murder. Pretty sure the whole 3rd floor heard her. Then I picked up H. When we got home he decided to vomit in my hand and all over my clothes. Today has been fun. |

Ok y’all, I need to muster some enthusiasm for this shindig. I did shower and do my hair so at least that’s done. I really just want to lounge in my pjs with mH and watch Christmas movies and enjoy the finally-finished Christmas tree. I'm too late, I assume, but what you need is a stiff pre-drink. Was thinking the same thing... except maybe two. Or three... |

MH had their Christmas dinner/party at work today and I was like- before December??! I see this must be kind of normal. Hope you end up having a good time flamingo. I think it’s because places book up so fast. I know of some people who’s party is in January. |

Just got home from dinner. I’m so full. And in bed. Dh is still up watching tv. The kids are at my parents and my mom is going to take them to daycare in the morning. I can’t wait to sleep in and then work from home for the day. Dh is even talking about playing hookie which would be amazing for him to get a few things done. But we’ll see if that happens.

Yes, it’s definitely a bit early; in our case it’s because the squadron is deploying in a couple weeks so they wanted to do the party before everyone goes on pre-det leave. |

My work always does Nov or Jan holiday parties. They figure everyone is always so busy in Dec so more people are likely to make it if it's earlier/later.

We have never had a formal holiday party. It was always happy hour (but at 11am) on the half day before break.
I’ve been at +1 to many in the past, and I always loved getting dressed up for them.
