Day 1000 of sick kids, I'm so tired. Everyone, including the baby coughs all night, and no one gets any sleep. I'm over it, Ladies. Not much on the agenda today. Maybe a Costco run and then a nap. My mom is coming home from Spain for a week, so I'll go get her house set up for her tomorrow. I'm not quite nam2013 when it comes to these things, but I will turn the heat up, put clean sheets on the bed and bring a few groceries. She recently got rec'd to an educational advisory position on our new governer's transition team for her work in bilingual education and immigration reform. I am proud of her and interested to see if she pursues it. Latino children in THIS country need her now more than ever. |

Hey. I’m at the dentist waiting to be called back. Just a regular cleaning for me, both girls are at school. If I have time I want to run to the mall or kohl’s before I have to pick them up. I work tonight and I’m sure DH will be working late so MIL will have to come hang with the kids till he gets done. Happy birthday flamingo! I’m excited to see how the squish is doing peachsmama |

She's in her second and final year of teaching English to Spanish children and their school year runs similarly to ours (ends in May). She is also still working remotley p/t for the Latino policy forum here while she is overseas, and they made the rec. They have requested she come back early for the role, but I don't think she would be willing to leave the Spanish school high and dry. She may ask them to hold a position for her, though. |

I slept like crap last night for no reason other than that I was like half awake all night. It’s like I couldn’t fall into a deep sleep because my mind wouldn’t turn off. So tired.

My baby is still so cranky I took him to the doctor to make sure nothing was wrong with him. She thinks it’s the 4 teeth he’s about to get. I stopped for good snacks and extra cash for my sitter.

My obgyn did an endometrial biopsy so that was delightful. I’m now home drinking a Bloody Mary while sorting through the stash of Christmas gifts for the kids.
I’m hoping to get some wrapping done before I get M this afternoon for her well check appt.
