Busy week here for me. Work Monday and Tuesday, then I took Wednesday off to prep for Thanksgiving, and, I think, to buy a new car!
We are having 13 people for Thanksgiving and MH wants to make enough food for 50. We shall see...
Also, S birthday party on Sunday. I have 4 people that haven't RSVP'd yet. Otherwise it looks like 17 participators plus 3 younger siblings (including B) who can't participate b/c you have to be 3.
My thoughts on the toddler area are the following: Balls Coloring book (I already bought a big Moana one) Tent/tunnel Maybe a mini bowling set that I have?
Any other good ideas? I need to keep them out of the "big" kid area.

Morning everyone! chrisy01 I, too, would bring both kids through the precheck with me. I assume you'll either be wearing E or she'll be in the stroller, right? We will have the stroller plus I do have carrier.

Morning. I'm feeling a lot better today. Although I still have very little voice. I came on in to work because I haven't had a fever since Saturday. And I have been off a lot lately and have taken Friday off for the holiday and Monday off for a dr appt for S. So I didn't want to have to take more off. I am trying to make a good impression so they will want to hire me in this job and I don't think that being gone all the time is the best impression to leave. Yesterday I cleaned out the play room and put together a huge box of toys and books that I am going to pass along to S's babysitter who has a 2 month old. It's a lot of baby toys and books so I feel like she will be able to start playing with/using them within the next 6 months to a year. This was a long time coming and it feels soooooo good to have purged that room. I also threw away a BUNCH of random little toys that don't go with things, happy meal toys, broken, ruined in some capacity. Then I rearranged the room when I was done. This had a fabulous effect...S played in there ALL EVENING! It was like a whole new place to her. Lol. So I was able to chill on the couch just outside that room and watch cheesy lifetime and hallmark movies. We still don't know what we are doing for Thanksgiving ??? I am awaiting MH's decision. I don't care what we do...I just need to know so I can prepare. I do know that Sunday I am heading back to STL because S has an appt on Monday. But we will be doing a late Thanksgiving with my mom's side of the family that night.

chrisy01, cagoldi I have been seeing the articles all weekend about how OC turned blue. My dad must be hating this but I'm pretty proud of the OC right now!

nam2013, both kids love the water wow books too. We have some but the pens are in bad shape, maybe I'll pick a few new ones up As to the tea set... I do have some stuff from our play kitchen I could bring, although I was trying to keep just a few things. Hmmm... Maybe the shopping cart and then a few kitchen items. I need to remember, however, that whatever I bring there, I have to bring back, plus all the presents!

Apparently I’m insane and figured a quiet Monday was the perfect day to clear out the kids closets 😖..... I would do that too. I’m planning on cleaning out the toys when my parents take LO to a museum just before Christmas. I should have done that. I had a quiet Monday WITH the kids, it did not make this process go as efficiently as possible to say the least.

Morning. I planned to work from home this morning since the countertops are being installed in the basement. Well.. now I’m home with a “sick” kid all day. I’m 90% sure she’s playing me is and is completely fine. Ugh. It’s also supposed to be cleaning lady day but I texted her to let her know, and she is going to steer clear just in case... which I completely understand, but dang it!! And she can’t switch to come another day.
So now I’m doing some work and n is in the basement playing. Dh is also being pissy so... happy Monday.

jewels I think your list of things to being for the little ones is perfect, a good mix of sit down and runaround play.

I can't remember if I told y'all but my SIL is about 11 weeks pregnant. We got into a disagreement on elderberry syrup yesterday and how she was going to be pissed if she gets the flu since this is the 1st time she's ever gotten the flu shot.
I can't wait to see what the next several years will be like...

Sounds like a fun dream, vino! Sometimes chrisy01 and I laugh when people ask us how we know each other and then we sheepishly say, "we met online."

And the stuff is usually so full of sugar, so I find it funny when all the crunchy moms are like "we eat no sugar of any kind" and then they're talking about chugging elderberry syrup. I mean, I have my pet woo, but at least it doesn't involve any communicable diseases. Does she plan to vaccinate?

I flat out told her that if she didn't vaccinate that our kids would not be hanging out. I believe she is planning on it now though. I guess I've "accidentally brought it up" on a few occasions. Especially with H's immune system, I'd be fucking pissed if she chose not to vaccinate.

Morning. I had a dream last night that wineallthetime and I crashed a party that joelies was having with a large group of friends. We just went in and were like ‘HEY JOELIES, IT’S WINE AND VINO, your online internet Mom friends...SURPRISE WE’RE HERE!!’ We got a lot of side eyes from the friends and I’m pretty sure joelies was trying to avoid us, but we weren’t having it and followed her around the party. I ❤️ N13 dreams.... OMG I love this! Except for the avoiding you part - you'd never be so lucky!

tgrimes, I know every Day Care around here won't let you in if you don't vaccinate, not sure if that's everywhere or not. But if it is, hopefully that will at least convince her. A friend of mine who recently had a baby, very late in life and very fought for (multiple IVF rounds), recently asked me my opinions on vaccination. She had read something on line and was "nervous". She literally said that there had been so many meds in getting pregnant that she didn't want anymore. She got an earful from me about it. Her son just got his 2 month vaccinations so I'm hopeful that means she listened.

xolastunicornxo I think that if the lamps were put in the same place as the ones you have now they would be good. Maybe you're noticing they're so much small because the larger ones are there. Clear it off and place them as they would be if it was just them, I think they'd look great.

Hello and happy Monday! No one wanted to get out of bed this morning - both boys were still exhausted from all the fun. We got them out and now I'm trying to catch up on work and gather pics from the party yesterday. I have a half dozen emails drafted up but everyone keeps coming by to ask about the party. I'm only in today and tomorrow so I have low expectations. Perhaps I should rethink that and get productive...
