inthekitty I hope you have an uneventful trip home and a great day with your girls! Boys are at hockey of course. T has his last soccer this afternoon. It should have ended last week but they are making up the day the coaches didn’t show up. At least it was moved indoors. I need to find a day to have a party for C. Can’t believe he’s almost 1 already.

Morning. Dh got home last night from a banquet saying he didn’t feel well and went right to bed at 9pm which is unlike him. Then I heard him vomiting an hour later so I slept on the couch. Now I have a headache from sleeping weird and can’t tell if I’m starting to feel sick or if it’s just in my head.
Not sure what we’ll do today. We were supposed to go to my nephews hockey game and then couch shopping but we’ll see how he’s feeling.

Today sinterklaas is arriving in the Netherlands, the kids are all happy and cute. The next 2.5 weeks are leading up to pakjesavond (present evening translated). They get to put their shoe in front of the chimney on Saturday and Wednesday and get a small present the next day (chocolate letter, small game, erasers etc.). We celebrate Christmas, but they won’t get nearly as much presents as with Sinterklaas, maybe something small, because I like the sight of presents under the tree 😉.

Morning!! I had an awesome run this morning and now my children are making me question my life choices. They're nuts, just so much energy to burn. Colin has his last soccer game at 10 and they even scheduled some indoor time for Chase's group, since it's the last week of the fall season and they haven't met for at least 4 weeks now. Hopefully they'll both get a bit of energy out because it's too wet and messy to put them outside.
I got a late night RSVP for Colin's party last night but that's fine, there's not really anything left to do. I DO need to grocery shop for the week and for Thanksgiving at some point, but I haven't figured that out yet.

Mh is taking Cadence to gymnastics. I can tell already it's going to be a struggle. They are already fighting and she's just putting her leotard on.
I need to decorate 36 cupcakes, but I think that's it as far as party prep. All the treat bags are done, pizza and drinks are handled by the place and I think that's it.

There is one questionable boy. He asked me yesterday if he could come. I told him of course because we had invited him, but I never heard from his mom.

We have RSVPs for 1 over our limit but I'm not sure if the 2 who RSVP'd with a guest were bringing siblings or they were counting the parents. Plus we had 3 parents (for a total of 5 kids) who didn't reply at all. I don't even care if we go over honestly, as long as the kids have fun and all I supply are cupcakes, favors, and the birthday boy. This whole birthday right before Thanksgiving will forever be too much for me. |

Dh is going to spend the morning doing job applications. I found a job for him yesterday at a great organization near home with similar pay to what he makes so fingers crossed. I asked him to be home by 2 so I could nap before date night.
C and I are going to the trampoline park and I’m hoping to get my outside lights up today. Then I’ll do the tree next weekend and be all ready.

I’m sick. Felt terrible most of the day yesterday. Continuing into today. Fever. Body aches. No voice. It just a whisper, but every now and then more comes out and I sound like a teenage boy going through puberty. MH is out of town for 10 days, so S is entertaining herself while I lay around and watch tv in misery.

MH and I went out for oysters and fried seafood last night. Unfortunately for him, the oysters just put me to sleep on the couch.
I’m going to try and get all the laundry/cleaning done before my MIL brings the kids back home. Tomorrow morning M & I are going tot he princess ball and her party is in the afternoon, so I won’t have any time to do it.
I need to meal plan, as well.

lahdeedah living in the middle of nowhere...it’s an hour drive one way to the nearest walk in clinic or urgent care since it’s the weekend. Plus I’d have to take S with me and expose her to everyone else’s germs, not to mention I don’t have the energy to wrestle her out and about. So I’m going to give it another day to see if I feel better first.

Morning.
So far we have had breakfast and just hanging around the house. I need to start getting ready so we can get out to do our errands. Later tonight there is a Christmas parade and tree lighting in our shopping center. It was pretty fun last year, so we will do it again this year. I just hope it won’t be freezing.
