Im not creative this morning. I have today off. Taking the kiddo to preschool, hitting the gym, lunch with a friend, then some shopping.

The hospital released FIL yesterday. They didnt find anything on thr EEG, MRI, CT scan or blood work that would cause seizures, so they told him to take seizure meds regularly.

I dont like it, I feel like they should have found some cause.

Oh, H is finally decided at 8:45 last night that we will leave for Colorado Sunday AM and come home Wednesday. So i was sending text messages out like a mad woman to move Evies bday party and find a dog sitter. Such a PITA.

That sucks. My uncle had a seizure last spring. Previously very healthy, random seizure in the MOTN. They still haven't found a cause.

Jealous! I went to bed at 10:15, got up 15 minutes later and took a xanax, pretty sure I laid awake for another hour. And still awake at 5, like every morning.

Good morning. I was up until 11 making grilled cheese sandwiches for my hungry hockey player. School called an early dismissal for the storm that is coming later. DH is now scheduled to land at the worst of it. He has a layover in Denver so if he gets stuck, maybe he can scout out some fun stuff for you all to do while he’s there.

Early dismissal day here for mh, but I think we still have gymnastics this morning, so he’ll meet us at the diner for lunch if it’s still on.
Otherwise, just hoping the snow isn’t too much— this is our first real winter in this house and I’m nervous about things like salting and sanding the driveway and hoping the plow guy comes out on time!

Unfortunately that happens a lot. My dad had a seizure 35 years ago on the operating table just before they were about to cut into him for neck surgery. Needless to say the surgery was postponed. They found no reason for the seizure. He didn’t have another until 15 years ago. MOTN when he got up to go to the bathroom. He’s been on meds ever since. But not had any more seizures. He wants to come off the meds and his dr is fine with it. But my mom doesn’t want him to .

School was canceled this morning and work is on a 2 hour delay because of the weather. I was going to work from home if school was canceled but work wasn’t, however I forgot my PIV card (for computer access) so looks like I’ll probably just take the day off.

Apparently the ice storm last night took out a lot of trees around us. The schools are either cancelled or delayed. Mostly because the busses cant get through.

A now has whatever awful cold I'm still getting over.. and he works in the cold all day. It's going to take forever for him to get over this.

Cadence wet the bed at 4:30. It was a bit odd since before bed she was asking if it was ok to pee on the pad on her bed....no, but if you do by ACCIDENT, then it keeps your bed dry.

So I've basically been up since then, tossing in my bed while she slept comfortably.

Crazy weather--it is way too early in the season for this nonsense, if you ask me! We are just getting rain/wind here but I saw where DC area may get snow? I told mH that if it snows here IN NOVEMBER I am taking the kids back to FL and living with my parents.

B has preschool and I really need to get my act together for our trip; we are seeing a wide range of weather and occasions during the week we'll be gone so I feel like we are going to need a UHaul to tow everything

mwhip That's always frustrating when they can't find a cause. Another anecdote for you, my great uncle had a seizure a couple years ago while out on his boat. They came up to Mayo Clinic in Jax to see if they could determine what was going on, but even the doctors there couldn't find anything. He's otherwise very healthy and as far as I know has never had another occurrence, before or since.

That sucks mwhip but I am happy you have the day off to relax a little. You’ve had a lot of crap lately.

We are getting snow/sleet/rain starting around 6pm tonight. I’m hoping for a delayed start tomorrow due to ice but we will see.

Today we have our flu/cholesterol clinic at work and while the nurse is so nice, she talks endlessly and we always end up with a backup and it drives my type A personality nuts. At least it’s over at 1.

Tonight I have therapy so my parents are picking up C and I will go to their house for dinner after my appointment.

Morning! I woke up super sore today, I am so over it. I was looking for back stretches last night on YouTube and dr. Oz had a segment on BP, he suggested this devil’s claw supplement and I figure I might as well try it. It’s supposed to help with inflammation. My eye feels itchy but I’m hoping it’s just me being paranoid because of S’s pink eye, DNW. Both girls have school this morning and I really don’t have any plans while they’re there.

Speaking of snow (we are supposed to get a tiny bit tomorrow afternoon/evening), every year on or the day before H’s birthday party we have a snow dump. 4 years ago today was her first birthday party and we had a blizzard that prevented some family from coming. While I’m not wishing for snow, I’m pretty much expecting it to come.

wineallthetime good sleep is the best. My goal is to go to bed at 8 tonight. I was up almost all last night procrastinating on a homework project for my class. It was like I was back in college when I would do everything but my assignment so I only got 1-2 hours of sleep. This should be my last class ever so luckily I should never be able to drag out my misery like that again. Guess I didn't learn when I was younger. Whoops.

On the plus side I binged a bunch of episodes of the latest season of Shameless that came available on Netflix about a month ago (8 I think). I still love that show.

I just got the call that they extended our 2 hour delay at work to all day!! So I don’t have to take off now!

Omg, I'm going to kill my husband. He didnt take care of the fraudulent charges yesterday like he said he would, which resulted in a $27.50 NSF charge to our account because they cant pull the car payment. I called the car loan company and talked to them, then our bank.

The bank is going to credit the NSF charge and send ME the form to dispute the charges.

Hi ladies! I forgot to thank you for all the commiserations yesterday. My aunt turned 60 yesterday and I took some of the party prep on me (I really should be a party planner...). The bar looked great, the kids had a blast and my aunt loved our gift! If you guys are still looking for something; we bought her one of those retro style suitcase record players and found vinyls that played a part during her life (one with jeters walk up song, the no1 from her birth year, one from a concert she was at etc.).

Can’t keep up with live this week, so when I got home from work just now, Dh send me upstairs to take a bath and told me he already has dinner prepped. Bless him.

We went to IHop last night for dinner...MH wanted it. Cadence basically refused to eat anything she ordered (good thing kids eat free) and complained the entire time. As we were leaving she loudly announced, "This place has DISGUSTING food!"
Pretty sure we'll never show our face around there again.

Morning. N is back to herself today so it was a short lived bug. We’re out and about, waiting in line at the car wash since it’s finally above freezing again. I took the kids to the store to fill their operation Christmas child boxes. Not sure what we’ll do the rest of the day.

We’re probably going to take a trip into ikea Saturday. We think we found a couch that’ll work but want to test it out first

Slow morning here. We have lunch catered today, so looking forward to that. I have a few personal things to get done on the computer at work, so hopefully I can get to them so I feel accomplished.
