Oh man. H isn't big on "cashing in" on Veteran's Day deals but this year he was all about the free stuff for some reason. I felt like we spent all day eating 😑 Don't think I'll bother looking at the scale at my appointment this afternoon.

thelittleredm, I gained two pounds on my work trip last week. I traveled this weekend as well, and then I'll be going to visit ILs for 8 days starting next weekend. I think I'll be avoiding the scale for a while. It really upsets me to see my weight go up so much higher than last time.

I haven’t seen my weight in awhile. I think I would rather just not know. It wasn’t terrible the last time I checked but I’m way bigger now 😑

PT checked my bruise-y toe and said it's probably safe to wait and see for now. Thankfully, the swelling and pain are almost gone and I can now walk on it almost like normal. So maybe just a really bad stubbing, or maybe a mild fracture, but either way I am hoping to avoid an xray or urgent care copay!

Pubic bone separation. Or, symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD), to be more accurate, I think. That's what my midwife thinks is all the pain I'm dealing with. Besides heat and Tylenol, she isn't sure what else might help. Maybe a pelvic support belt. Anyway. She wants me to go to a PT about it and hope they can help me out at least a little.
So not happy this afternoon. H never responded to any of my texts today so I stopped trying. Which meant that it's my fault he missed my appointment today because we definitely did not discuss it last night while he complained about the idea of taking me to work since he didn't have work

thelittleredm oh no, I'm so sorry! Ok glad you're catching it early and can get pro help to mitigate it. My bff has that and it has been a real struggle.

You know you’re pregnant when someone says “coat on” and you hear “cold stone” 🍦🤣

Today sucks. I way overdid it yesterday rage cleaning my house and my low back and hip hurt on top of the crotch pain. H texted me today saying he really was sorry about missing the appointment and that I should've told him about the SPD issue and what not. I appreciated the sentiment but at the same time, he spent ALL afternoon and evening shut up in the guest room only briefly coming out to kind of apologize and then went back to the room when I didn't respond fast enough. Idk.
Hurting today is making my patience non-existent. It's also cold out and I didn't bring anything warm to eat for lunch so that sucks but whatever.

sunshiney glad your toe is feeling better! I’ve stubbed mine so bad I thought it was broken too. Hopefully it’s feeling back to normal in no time! thelittleredm oh no! That sounds painful. FX the PT can help. I’d think a support belt would keep some pressure off that area but I’m also a bit skeptical when it comes to them. If I was in enough paid I’d at least try it out. Either way, I hope you’re able to get some relief! Definitely not looking forward to seeing my weight on the scale next week either 🙈 I’ve been indulging in a lot more junk food, especially at night. I blame MH for always needing to have ice cream in the house! How does he eat it almost every night and not gain a pound? So unfair!

...I appreciated the sentiment but at the same time, he spent ALL afternoon and evening shut up in the guest room only briefly coming out to kind of apologize and then went back to the room when I didn't respond fast enough. Idk... The worst. Puts you in the place of having to be the one to reach out next when they haven't actually done their part to reach out. Marriage is hard. Men are annoying. I hope you're both able to communicate well and feel loved tonight!!!! Makes such a difference on crappy days!

thelittleredm I’ve had SBD with all 3 pregnancies 😕. The only thing I’ve found to help is wearing supportive shoes. I do have a support belt but I haven’t been wearing it consistently enough.

The germs finally got to me. I was up all night with terrible nausea and vomiting. I was also have tons of BH. Thankfully I’m feeling better today, just weak and afraid to eat. I had an OB appt this morning and she said if i had been a little more dehydrated I’d have to go to L & D, but I’m okay now.

I'm really swollen this pregnancy compared to last. My rings are getting very tight, and my regular shoes don't fit anymore. I had to buy a couple of pairs in a full size up. I'm wearing compression socks most days, but they feel so uncomfortable and tight.
Just complaining over here.

k, I hope you feel better soon and can stay out of the hospital. notagoddess, That sounds miserable I'm thankful swelling hasn't been much of an issue for me with my past pregnancies. I mean, my hands and feet still swell if I'm on my feet too long but it isn't anything bad.

thelittleredm Idk if I'm in SPD territory or just general pelvic girdle pain, but I'm terribly uncomfortable every day. The support belt that I started wearing last week has definitely helped. I got a little overconfident and went without it for a day...that was a mistake. FX you/we can find some relief! k Feel better! Weight gain has picked up for me (+2 last week). I haven't gained nearly as much as I had at this point with DS, but I'm feeling much larger than before - maybe because I'm carrying lower? I get just a little overwhelmed when I think about how much bigger I'm going to get. Related: I may or may not have cried a little when MH had to help me put on my boots last weekend.

CharlieB, I gained 8lbs between this recent appointment and the one before. I knew the holiday weekend would screw me up, not to mention the crazy random hunger of A's growth spurts. My midwife told me not to worry about it but I'm almost where I was when DS2 was born and I still have 3 months to go!

They aren’t worried, but I don’t like seeing the number on the scale! Ah well. What can you do?

Our c section is scheduled for 100 days from today. Looked into the second bedroom that we've been slowly emptying out and realized there'd be a little baby in there soon. Honestly my first thought was, no thank you! This is going to be crazy! But mostly I think it's just feeling very very real....

My weight gain also kicked off the last two weeks. Baby is hungry so I eat! Trying to tell myself every day that it's my body's job to grow a healthy baby... After they're here I can get my body back in shape for its other jobs!!

Ugh, I’ve only ever gotten lemon-lime at my glucose tests. It’s my least favorite flavor even among non-gross drinks 😆 Sorry for everyone who’s having pain and discomfort. I had a lot of pelvic pajn with DD but never had SPD. thelittleredm it sounds pretty awful. I have a pre-op appointment in Boston tomorrow at 7:15 am. It’s supposed to snow tonight from 9 to 1 and then rain from 2 to 6 so should be a super-fun drive in 😕

I had my test this morning. I got the orange and I didn’t think it was too bad. It wasn’t as horrible as some people have told me. They said it’ll be a week for the results. I had an ultrasound too because of my age. They make me feel like a dinosaur! I’m 34! 😬

But the extra ultrasounds I’ve been getting are only because of my eleventy million issues, not age. Technically you’re not AMA until 35 (not that that’s even old!) so don’t let them get you down!

dashook thank you! I’ll be AMA when he’s born so I guess that’s why! Barely AMA like by a month! I’ll really be a dinosaur when we try for number 2! lol
