Morning! I've been up since 5:30 for some reason. Kids are up. I've got the older 2 on tablets, A is rolling around the family room and I'm drinking coffee watching A Million Little Things.

It's 7am and E it's still asleep. He has been up at 6 since the time change. I'm still laying in bed under the blankets. Mh told me about a friend who was getting a divorce and the situation surrounding right before bed. So if course I dreamt that mh did this things. Nothing planned for the day except play monopoly, Es new favorite game

Cadence came into my room at midnight saying she couldn't find her tooth. I told her the tooth fairy probably already came. She said no, she didn't find any money. I told her we would look in the morning. She said she was done sleeping and we should get up. I told her if she didn't go back to her room and back to sleep we wouldn't be going to the movies today. She promptly went back to her room.

Morning! I've been up since before the sun. Currently sitting at work with basically nothing to do, so that's fun. Not sure what the rest of the day will hold except for a nap after work.

Morning, and thank you for the birthday wishes for Boss Lady!
She is living her best life...ate a carb-loaded breakfast, opened presents and is currently playing with her new Calico Critters while wearing dress-up shoes and a crown. 👸🏼
Not much on our agenda today; we might run a couple errands and get lunch out but otherwise we’ll be relaxing here and letting C play with all her new stuff.

slenle I am probably in the "good enough" camp for a nice neutral basement couch on clearance. FWIW we had great luck at 1stopbedrooms.com when buying our basement couch. I had the same reservations about buying online, but the cost, warranty and delivery service was unbeatable and I think we looked at a million stores.

Morning! I’m heading to baby shower this afternoon and then having my parents and sister and family over for dinner tonight. I assembled my lasagna already so I can put it in the oven when I get home.
A few weeks ago, my sister suggested doing weekly Sunday dinners, rotating between our 3 houses. I think it’s a great idea, but wondering how long it’ll take to start spreading it out to once a month. Lol. Weekly is just a lot!

Update: I bought couch I found. It’ll be delivered Wednesday. She said if i hate it, it can be returned so I figured I might as well try it out since it was such a good deal.

Morning, we are back from a hectic two days in the city. I drove in with all the kids, sat in traffic for a lifetime and then visited with some old friends, which was lovely. We also met another dog and he was the best. Newfie/black lab mix about 3 years old and we fell in love. However, when we took him for a walk, my H noticed he swayed his hips and almost looked like he had a slight limp. Then I noticed he laid down a lot...like he would grab a toy and go lie down. He would also put his legs straight back out behind him when he laid down. I know both breeds are at risk for hip dysplasia, so unfortunately it was too many signs to ignore. He was such a sweet, well-behaved dog that I almost wonder if that is why his owners surrendered him. I feel awful for him if that's the case, but we just can't risk that kind of liability right now. I am considering whether I should share my suspicions with the shelter, but part of me thinks they would be better at recognizing the signs than I would, so they know or I'm wrong.
I have a baby shower thus afternoon with the neighbors, which should be fun. But other than that, taking it easy today.

Morning.
The party yesterday was a complete success, all the kids were really well behaved and they were all very good about the two little ones, Julia and her cousin, the Sportball coach was amazing with them.
He has such a great group of friends, my heart was full.

Today is Remembrance Day here, so we spend the day reflecting on the sacrifices that our military members and their families have made. The bag pipes get me every time.
MH has to attend a ceremony and if the kids are good we’ll head there with him. Low key day otherwise.

All of my company is gone. I have my house back. Now if only I could get the boys out of the house, I could truly relax.
We have a gender reveal later that I really don’t want to go to after such an exhausting few days. We will probably pop in and out. But in the mean time, I need to meal plan and go to the grocery store before MH and M leave to go to workouts.

Ugh! We are fighting about mattresses here. Everytime I think we come to a decision him or I find something else that might be better or find something negative about it. Zinus has great reviews on Amazon except for the ones that report mold in them at delivery. Then the purple mattress sounds primo but expensive and poor bbb rating.

I like my regular ol' serta from the local furniture store. It's a hybrid mattress: interspring with memory foam pillowtop thing. But I have heard good things about Agility bed if you want mail order. (use this link for a discount agilitybed.com/yhl/)
