TashaLa I can imagine it’s extremely difficult seeing the birth stories in the BMB you were apart of. I am so sorry. Hugs ❤️

Has anyone been told by their SO that they’ve been snoring? When I was pregnant with DD MH told me I snored but I don’t think I started until 3rd tri. I never thought to mention it to my OB so I didn’t. However, I’ve apparently been snoring for 2-3 weeks now and this morning I woke up to MH not in bed with me for the very first time in 8 years. We had a long weekend out of town and both haven’t slept well the last couple nights so he decided to sleep on the couch since I was snoring loudly so we both could get some much needed rest. The only time I snore is when I’m pregnant. Never have before. In hopes of finding a solution I googled snoring during pregnancy and to my surprise I found it can actually be dangerous to snore during pregnancy. Snoring means I nor baby are getting enough oxygen. When I woke up I realized I had been breathing through my mouth too which is also an issue. From what I read, snoring should not be ignored and can be compared to smoking during pregnancy because of the lack of oxygen. It has been linked to low birth weight, birth defects and even stillbirth. I now am planning to call my OB tomorrow and see if there’s anything I can do besides the usual breathing strips and humidifier which I will be trying tonight. I know the breathing strips help but don’t take away the snoring all together because I tried them a couple weeks ago when MH first complained about not sleeping well due to my snoring. I’m really worried after reading about it and hope the snoring hasn’t caused any issues for LO. I also feel terrible that MH isn’t able to sleep and would love any suggestions!

cch sorry to hear about that, it sounds worrying! My understanding is that is can be normal to snore during pg because of swollen nasal passages and not necessarily a sign of breathing problems but I'm glad you'll be checking on it! dashook that sounds so fun!

Stubbed my pinky toe on the bed yesterday morning and felt/heard a crunch. Been limping around. By last night it's bruised, swollen, looks slightly lumpy, and my toenail is on a slightly different angle compared to the other pinky toe....l never broke a bone before but apparently now I have? Going to PT this morning and will ask them if I need xray or what. Hate to spend money on this if there's nothing to be done anyway. Could be much worse though I guess!

Broken toes are so painful. when I broke mine my PT suggested taping it to the next toe for more support? It helped.
