Anyone else still waiting on their first PP period? I've had some weird cramping the past few days that reminds me of the PMS cramps I'd had in the past, but I'm hoping it's just a stomach bug or weird digestion issue. AF came back around 7-8 months with my first, but I was hoping I'd get lucky enough to go without for longer this time. Still waiting. I got mine 15 months pp with DS. I had many moments where Iād cramp and think AF was coming. DD isnāt as obsessed with nursing so I think itāll come back sooner for me this time.

I keep expecting to get a period but haven't yet. I get cramping around the same time each month but I'm pretty sure it's ovulation pain.

We just tried to get Christmas pictures done. It was a complete shit show. I knew E would be... trying. But I thought N would be her normal happy, smiley self.
Well.. apparently stranger danger has set in. She took one look at our photog and started bawling.
And E was a typical 3yo.
Woof.

Weāre starting sleep training tonight. We talked with the sleep consultant for 2 hours last night and got all the instructions. She was super detailed, but Iām still pretty nervous. Also a bit excited that weāre hopefully moving in the right direction because I cannot handle these every hour wake ups anymore.

I never want my period back. katietopaz weāre still BFing and she wakes up about once a night so hopefully that keeps it away. Itās a fair trade TBH. I need DH to get his V but he doesnāt even have a PCP so Iām not sure where we start. I really donāt want to deal with DH post-V bc heās the biggest freaking baby. Weāre in a pretty conservative area so Iām also concerned heāll get some push back since we only have girls. ArielMermaid DD1 ate like a grown man today. Iām hoping the tantrums are leading up to a growth spurt and then will even out. One can hope right?

Still no pp period, but I feel like Iām about to get it.
J still isnāt sleeping through the night, and now that my 2yo is potty trained she wakes every night to go to the bathroom. Iām really tired.
He hates food, and never took a bottle. God I hope I donāt need to nurse until heās in preschool š, kidding....sort of.
J is now crawling and heās a fast little bugger, way faster than the girls. Itās made my life way insane.

I asked a two weeks ago about PP periods because I swore I hadn't gotten mine yet. Now I've had it twice since then. So I apparently am making up for everyone who hasn't had a PP period yet.

Great news mrsmonogrammed! š I hope sleep training is going well clementine. Leaf š± that isš. who would give pushback, the Dr? That is.... unprofessional. And also why would she/he know what children he has. A month ago maybe I had heavy spotting/light period for a couple days. I am not counting that as the real thing, so idk.

alwayscheese itās a pretty common thing unfortunately. We have family friends and the wife shouldnāt get pregnant for health reasons so the husband wanted a V and it was STILL hard to get. If āa pregnancy could kill my wifeā isnāt a good enough reason. I donāt need know what is.

I just read the shower thread on GD from a couple days ago. Now I need a bidet. They confuse me though. Also I'm once again bitter about the nurse and DH shaming me when I went to shower the 6 hours after DS was born. I still had my IV or at least the site but I had been in the tub with it while in labor so I figured nbd. Leaf š± I'm sorry that's a problem. I hope it doesn't sound like I was ranting at you. I just can't wrap my mind around a Dr asking all the why's and wherefores of a guys posterity before agreeing to a V. Like the Dr doesn't have to agree. DO YOUR JOB.

Should I buy mesh bumper pads for DS crib? I was just watching him on the monitor kicking around with his legs through the slats. He has gotten them stuck a couple times and screamed till I got him unstuck but that was a while ago. I just remembered there was mesh pads, but idk if I need them lol.

alwayscheese I feel the same way so I didnāt take it as ranting at me at all! Itās really dumb so hopefully he doesnāt have any issues. I have found the ālegs stuck in slatsā thing to be a stage that passes quickly for most kids. I donāt see anything wrong with a mesh bumper though assuming itās done as safely as possible. And why did you get shamed about showering? I had DD2 at 244 and I showered by the time they brought out dinner at 530 ĀÆ\_(ć)_/ĀÆ who wants to be covered in blood, sweat, and whatever nasty fluids there are for longer than you have to?!

alwayscheese, We have a mesh bumper for J. He likes to sleep right next to the side of the crib and was always getting his arms caught. I just got tired of getting up a bunch in the middle of the night to fix him. We never used them with DD though, she stayed mostly in the middle of the crib. DD was supposed to have a field trip tomorrow. It seems all the kindergarten classes in the district visits a nearby farm. I got an email from her teacher that they canceled it...they are calling for heavy rain all day tomorrow. She is so bummed out. They are talking about trying to reschedule it...I really hope they can.

With E, I assumed they could tell me when I could shower/put on real clothes... They did not. And she was in the NICU so I was walking back and forth from my room to the NICU in my hospital gown looking fucking wrecked for like 18 hours. They shamed me into a shower finally .
With N, I had her at 1:50AM and was showered by like 8AM. It would have been sooner but my legs didn't regain feeling for like 3 hours.

A month ago maybe I had heavy spotting/light period for a couple days. I am not counting that as the real thing, so idk. Exactly a month ago apparently. So yes, pp period is here. And I am reaffirming my love of cups. Fx that cramps and flow do not get worse than they are. My "normal" periods before bc + Paraguard reputation + what I've heard of returning pp periods are not making me hopeful.
