We have flu shots for both girls in a little. I am...not looking forward to that.
I think due to an excess of buti and an improperly fitting bra, my neck/back are f'ed up. It's better today than yesterday but still not great. I finally made an appointment with the chiropractor on Wednesday. Ever since I had N I've felt so out of whack so hopefully that will help.
E has been a disaster this weekend. I know it's just being overly tired but OMG.

My house is a disaster. My baby is sleeping like a newborn at night. Over it big time.
Last night was particularly bad, he went down at 5pm, up at 8, resettled, up at 11, fed, up at 2, fed because I was too tired to deal and he was pretty worked up. Up at 4:45, tagged in H but he won’t settle for H any more so by the time I got him at 5:45 he was losing his shit screaming like a banshee.
I think he’s teething because he kept screaming after I nursed him.
He doesn’t feed to sleep at night so I don’t think it’s an association.
Tl;dr babies man

On the plus side tomorrow is my me day as the baby and toddler have daycare so among all the stupid errands I have to do and packing I’m gonna do something just for me. I’m just not sure what yet.

It was a GD Monday. Good riddance. DD2 is horribly congested so I think I’ll stay home with her tomorrow. I wish there was something I could do to help her. Holding her down to use the nose Frieda makes me feel JUST GREAT.

H stayed home with him yesterday, so I’m staying home today. Tylenol brings it down, but it just shoots right back up when it wears off. And omg yes to the nose frida torture. Same with giving Tylenol.

We had our initial consult with the sleep consultant last night. She seemed really nice and knowledgeable and it sounds promising so bye bye monies. At this point, I will throw money at the person who can give us all some sleep. So now we will put this long questionnaire and wait for her to put together a plan. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Owen slept in a half hour this morning and it was SO nice to snooze a little longer and get ready without him awake!

This baby can not get rid of her snotty nose. It’s been nothing else. Just totally goobery. No fever, cough, etc. she’s been sleeping like shit because she can’t breathe. Send coffee.

ArielMermaid I feel you on the snotty nose. When we went to the pedi for croup and she asked how long he’d been stuffy/snotty, I said “probably for the last... 3 months” 🤷🏼♀️

I'm sorry for all the sick babies! I hope they all feel better soon. N hasn't been sick yet, but now that I've said that it'll probably be tomorrow lol.

DD and J both woke up this morning at 5:00. Well...DD woke up at 5 and then went into J’s room and woke him up. It is going to be a long day.

My new mom friend is a preschool/special needs teacher and has started her own podcast about like teaching/raising happy and smart kiddos. This week and next week's podcast is with a sleep consultant and is pretty interesting. I've been super blessed with really good sleepers but it's still interesting, if anyone is interested in it I can PM you the name.

Sorry for all the sick babies. Sending healthy wishes all around. cornpop you could pm me the info! I would love a podcast like that. I'll be done with the book series I've been listening to on audio soon so that would be something good to listen to.

Ugh I feel all of you on the sick babies. Since DS1 started preschool, I think we’ve had like two weeks without us all being sick. I’m so over it.
I think L is teething because he has been grumpy for like three weeks straight. Nothing makes him happy. It’s been frustrating.
Oh. And I’m pretty sure he wants to walk. He spent all weekend pulling himself up and trying to take steps. No, no, no. I refuse to believe it.

Ditto to the booger club. Lou and I both have a bad head cold. Bleh. H was away on a hunting trip all weekend so I'm evening out the playing field by assigning him to all wake ups tonight and then knocking myself out with NyQuil later.
I have a HUGE presentation at work next week that I'm busting tail for and I cannot, CANNOT be sick for it. Its a whole week away but I'm already nervous.

Boo for the sick babies, I'm sorry friends. We're in a lull between bugs but I know DS1 is going to bring home some gunk from preschool. We have family pics for Christmas cards this weekend and I think I'm going to have to go clothes shopping. Most of my pre-pregnancy clothes still don't fit. And I still haven't been able to get my wedding rings back on. I hate how BFing makes me starving all the time and hold onto weight. I could be making better food choices but it feels like life has just been nonstop for months. On the fun side, I'm having fun pulling together a themed nursery for DS2 now that he has his own room. If only I didn't have Pottery Barn taste on a Goodwill budget

Have done. So funny you say that though. I yelled at H the other day for doing it when we were on a car trip.

I hate the time change. DS has switched over fine, but the baby will not change her bedtime no matter how much I try to manage her nap times. Instead of 6, she's now exhausted at 5 and asleep for the night before 5:30. This means mornings are starting at 6:30 😭. I'm sure it'll change over the next few days but it's annoying me.

I woke up at 3:30 and couldn't fall back asleep so I've been watching a Christmas movie on TV. And of course, now that I said DS was adjusted to the new time, he would wake up at 5:45, just when I was hoping against hope that I could go back to bed for an hour. 😴
