This week has been ok. I had fish and chips for lunch on Tuesday, but last night I had taco stuffed sweet potatoes. Today our manager is buying us lunch from the best Szechuan restaurant. I get the hot chicken, which isn't healthy at all but it's my favorite thing in the entire world. Taco stuffed sweet potatoes sounds amazing. Now I want to try making taco-stuffed roast bell peppers! Mmmmm what else I can I shove a taco into...(TWSS) It's really yummy!! I love taco everything but thought I'd switch it up from a boring taco salad.

I worked out!! Finally! My nausea went away within a minute or two of moving around and it lasted long enough to drink a bottle of water and get almost through prepping dinner. Hallelujah! Hopefully that alone will keep me moving, it’s the best I’ve felt in over a month.
Also, I need to get back into the eating mindset I like to live in. Treat yourself, but focus on eating as healthy as possible. I’ve lost track of that and it’s putting me in a terrible mindset. Not to mention additional stomach issues I really can’t handle right now. I need more protein, more water, a shit ton less garbage.
Would anyone be interested in a meal plan thread again? I think it was mentioned the other week. That always helped me out big time

Did ok today. It started off ok but I have yet another chest cold (what is this like the 6th this year?) and at one point my cough got so bad today I left work to get myself a frozen yogurt just to soothe things a bit.
Dinner tonight, the rest of the family had grilled kielbasa, mac and cheese, and peas. Wayyyy out of scope for me but when you let YH pick...So anyways I made myself a naan flatbread with spinach, broccoli, ricotta mixed with fresh garlic, chicken breast, and a dash of hot sauce. It was kind of totally amazing.

That’s everything I want to be eating, but lack the creativity to come up with.

Maybe I’ll go hunt for it now that I know what I can put it on. There’s a great Mediterranean place I can get fresh naan if the grocery doesn’t have it.

Ricotta always came in the form of my favorite Italian goodies which were definitely not cooked in this house. H is super low carb and I was moderately low. I’m being gentler with myself but still want to keep it in check. There’s always the option to make stuff with alternative flours like almond, but then I find myself balking at the insane calories coming from fat. I guess I could just eat it with a spoon? Dip my steamed broccoli in it? Make it all sans bread and just eat it with a fork?

I can do this!!! But, uh, how’s that zucchini prepped do you think? Is it supposed to be in purée form, or cut finely? This is normally where I would just stop and move in, but instead I’m asking and then I’m going to bake them next week.

I think in other recipes like this they call for it to be shredded, so if you have a box grater with a medium grate that's what I would try first. Second choice would be puree. I think you want some texture but no chunks ideally.

I’m currently obsessed with ricotta. Most mornings I eat ricotta and avocado toast. It’s the best really.
All in for a meal planning thread.

I don't think I've had ricotta before? Idk.
This week is a hot mess food wise. But oh well. I'll get back on track after Thanksgiving.
I'm prepping my desserts tonight and tomorrow for our 2 Thanksgivings. Thursday is smores bread pudding (MHs birthday request), vanilla cream puffs and pumpkin eclairs. Friday is pumpkin pie and apple cranberry pie. I love holiday baking!

I weighed in this AM and I’m down 1lb this week but I’m .1 below pre-baby weight! Between work drama, DH getting home, Aunt flo arriving, and Thanksgiving... I’m just happy to be down. This is the lightest I’ve been in a long while. I’m -6.5lbs for the month and -43.5 total. I see it in the mirror and how clothes fit, but I haven’t gone down a dress size yet. I’m sure it’ll catch up sooner or later!?!

So how did everyone in the US do over Thanksgiving?
I could have done better, but could have done worse. I did a lot of fasting days this week to try to counteract things. Still, looking forward to getting away from leftovers.

Happy to get back to my regular meal plans.

Still, looking forward to getting away from leftovers. Ehhhhh. I don’t know. I didn’t snack much, but we ate a lot of hotel food so that couldn’t have been the best. Today my actual thanksgiving plate wasn’t the worst, but I’m lying to myself if that’s all I counted. I “taste tested” everything constantly. So much so that I could barely eat when it came time for actual dinner. Whoops. My carb consumption level has leveled off to a normal persons I think. It’s still high for me since I’ve restricted them for so long, but It’s a level that my stomach seems happy with. I was eating 100% carbs all month and it was all I could eat, but it was tearing up the rest of my GI tract. MS + every other stomach problem was way too many bad sensations to handle. I get weighed on Thursday and I’m honestly very nervous. I’ve definitely gained based on how my pants look and fit. It’s something that has to happen, but it makes me very....uncomfortable? Dismayed? I think this is normal? Idk.

I hope that means you're starting to turn the corner on your MS.

I think being on my feet doing all the cooking and cleaning makes it all worse, but there isn’t much I can do about that. Yanno?

Sounds like a really great excuse to hire a maid and private chef.
