I do have YouTube kids. Sometimes there are more/better videos on YouTube I will definitely be doing a better job monitoring from here on out. definitly more stuff on regular youtube. I only let H access youtubekids. M refuses to use it since some of her stuff isn't on there. S will only watch what I tell him he can watch and will come ask me to watch something new, so overall I trust him to not click things he shouldn’t. I just didn’t realize there was stuff hiding. |

mwhip Yes- we have seat protectors under our carseats. I don’t want the leather to get stretched or damaged. Easy to clean as well. flamingo I know you said you don’t want to spend money on a Dyson. but we’ve had ours for over 5 years and it’s still great. I’ve had to replace a filter one time & it was not expensive. I’ve never had a vacuum last this long. Lol to that wine glass tgrimes 😂😂 I want one. That’s a good idea xolastunicornxo I worry about someone being a jerk and taking all the candy- and there are going to be a lot of kids coming to my house.

flamingo I have a Shark and i love it. So easy to switch between attachments and very lightweight. It does a good job with pet hair. Bonus-it's easy enough to maneuver the 7 yo can vacuum.

In the ongoing saga which is our fridge...
The guy showed up, we discussed whats been going on, started taking everything out and he said the evaporator is the new one, so it doesnt need replaced. And they didnt order the ice maker and motor, so there was nothing for him to do.
He asked if I wanted him to order it. No. I told him Im going to call around and see if I can get it cheaper.
For fucks sake people. H is calling this company back to see what happened. Hes very passionate about his ice.

flamingo I've had both a Dyson and a shark and I prefer the shark by far. Much lighter and does a great job with pet hair. I have a chow mix that sheds a ton. Plus it's easier to clean and maintain. My Dyson used to get clogged pretty often.

We’re going to a friend’s house to trick or treat with a group of people. They want to go out before dinner but I would much rather go after. It will be fine either way.

C had a great time tonight. We have so much candy! He’s watching a quick show and going up to bed then I’m watching episode 9 of Hill house. I can’t wait but I’m so tired.

The boys trick or treated like champs and still got to bed within 15 minutes of their usual times. There is so much candy, not to mention Halloween themed stickers and tattoos in our house right now!!

Hi! Trick or treating was great! Poor C tripped on her dress a half dozen times but it barely slowed her down--girlfriend had no problem marching up front steps and holding out her bucket  I had her saying 'Trick or Treat' by the end. B loved it and would have done dozens more houses. A friend of mine whose husband is deployed came over with her 18 month old; we had prosecco while the kids ate dinner beforehand and it was just a really fun evening. I still have so much to do to get ready for our trip, but I'm exhausted. We are lying on the couch watching The Rookie (new show) and eating CFA, and then I will probably hit the hay. |

I forgot to mention that at every house C said “trick or treat. Smell my feet!” Then when they would give a candy he would say “thank you! Don’t forget to smell my feet!” I told him it was rude and he told me it was hilarious. Which is kind of was. I don’t know where he gets this stuff.

We went trick or treating and b was a total beast. Thankfully MH was with us so he took him back to our friend’s house so I could stay out with S and his friends.
They had a blast.

Fuel taxes filed. 6th times the charm apparently.. now tomorrow I have to create a spread sheet to determine what each guy owes because they changed the format on me and the site I file on wont let me do each guys separately like I did last quarter.

Hope you all had a great time! We had fun and N kept up the whole time.. Halloween is the best. People thought n was a cat, but I suppose not everyone is up on their kids TV characters to recognize Daniel tiger.. someone thought she was Cindy Lou even, which isn't a bad guess bc her hair was in pigtails by the end.

Our friend’s house ended up being more fun than I was anticipating. Sometimes making myself go to things is the hardest part. The kids got so much candy. S was kind of clingy most of the time and wanted to be carried but she walked up to the doors and said trick or treat every time. We stayed at their house way longer than we should have so hopefully I don’t have cranky kids tomorrow.

Trick or treating was exhausting. On the invite for this trick or treat it said
“Make the loop”. She forgot to mention that loop was over a mile! M lead the pack and he wanted to get to every house first so it was a lot of keeping up with him and slowing him down. I kept asking him to wait for all his friends before going to the next house because we were in a pretty decent sized group.
We did have fun, though and glad I met more parents. Some I see during drop off, but we never speak other than the usual ‘good morning’.

We had an awesome night! My Mom and I took the kids out with the neighbours and it was fun. We were out for about an hour and Julia asked to go home after the last planned house, such a little trooper that girl, keeping up with the big kids.

We had so much fun trick or treating. The kids loved it! We brought along beer and then had wine and pizza after with my sister, BIL and niece.

We had so much fun, and ended up running into old friends on the town green. So we ditched our plan of leaving to hit a local street, and hung with them. There was a thriller flash mob at one point that all the kids liked to watch. Too much candy, and one guy was giving out new Scholastic books!
We were home for the kids to be in bed just a little late and we all slept til 715!!
