I'm patiently waiting for the immunologist to call with H's results. I can see the results of the allergy blood work and it doesn't look like he's allergic to anything. They even tested for mouse urine. Gross.
We have an ENT follow up this afternoon and I was hoping the results would be in by now so we could discuss it.

For those that have leather seats, do you put anything under the car seat to protect the leather or no? The 2 cars I've had since I had Evie have had cloth, so it wasn't as important to me. I don’t. Me neither, but I have thought about it since the car seats leave dents. Maybe one of those car seat pads? Congrats on the new ride mwhip! All your hard work paid off 😉 |

Happy Halloween everyone! MH is a sucker and got Maddie a second costume for school. It's dress like a storybook character today and she wanted to be Harry Potter. He spent way too much getting all this official stuff but she looks really cute. That will be her costume for next year So cute. Your H is awesome. |

Oh and get this. This morning S asked me to pull upnStrech Armstrong video’s on YouTube. I handed him the iPad and always getting something from his drawer when I heard Trump’s voice say something like ‘Don’t let them take your 2nd amendment rights. I grabbed the iPad and clicked skip and told S if he heard anything like that again to change it immediately What the hell?? I thought my biggest fear w the iPad was too much screen time or watching too many fighting videos. Not this. This is weird. We were listening to a Halloween thing on YouTube last night and got a weird Republican ad too. It was about how unsafe we will be if we open up our borders 😒 |

Morning and happy Halloween!
Out with C doing some errands; I killed my porch mums so I’m about to head into the garden center for replacements.
Does anyone have a vacuum they love that does well with pet hair? My 8 y.o. Hoover is in its death throes. I don’t want to spend Dyson money and am intrigued by the Shark; any thoughts or others you like?

mwhip I have seat covers (I think the brand is Prince Lionheart) on my leather seats. IME the biggest wear and tear is on the back of the seats when they’re RF, so you’re probably past the worst of the damage 😊

I saw on FB that some areas switched TOT to last night since tonight was supposed to be rainy (I think this was in Indiana). I'd never seen that before. Apparently, there is a petition going around to make Halloween a floating holiday. It would be the last Saturday of October, whether it was the 31st or not. I'd LOVE for it to be a Fri or Sat every year! |

Sierra has a Halloween party at school today and I have to miss it because of work In my other position I could have easily slipped out for a bit to go to it. Luckily MH is going though. So hopefully he will send me a few pics. Also - she peed in the potty again last night!! This is progress, albeit slow progress...but I'll take it! I switched from working with a bunch of LE guys to now working with Firefighters. I don't know which group of men was more disgusting. The bathrooms smell, the kitchen is a mess, and the floors look like they have not been swept in months. I am going to spiff this place up today. I can't work in these conditions! Lol. Also, the following sign is on the ice machine in the garage..."Ice Machine Etiquette: If you spill it, clean it up - If you use the scoop, hang it up - If you use your hands, make sure they are clean!" I think I will refrain from getting ice from the machine till I can see everyone's etiquette. DNW ice that someone else's hands have touched. |

lfig I cannot use any of the ice at work because my boss uses his hands to get it and we all know he doesn't wash his hands after using the restroom.

flamingo I had a Dyson for years...like 10 probably and finally got a new Shark last year. I wish I would have spent the extra $$ for the Dyson. The shark is top heavy and falls over all the time, the cord is shorter so I feel like I'm constantly moving plugs. I do think the suction was comparable, we'll see if it lasts as long. I'm definitely team Dyson moving forward.

Happy Halloween! I’m sitting outside a nursing home waiting for Hs daycare can to pull up. They were supposed to be here at 10, but nothing yet. I called daycare and they were still getting ready so I quick ran to target and am back and still waiting. I don’t think I’ll be getting much work done today.

Morning. Happy Hallowe’en!
The kids were pumped to wear their costumes this morning and they look adorable!
I’m off today, so i dropped them off, went to the pool for 45 minutes of lane swim...one day I’ll get to an hour...one day. I have to pay for the hall for B’s birthday party, order his ballons for his party and J’s birthday, check out cakes at costco and hopefully order them. And for myself buy some new shoes and a vibrator since mine broke ::sad trombone::.

Morning and Happy Halloween!
I spent the last week at work training our new guy and decorating our department for today. We always have a Halloween contest between departments here and most people get in to it. Our theme is monster bash. I put up a bunch of pics on my snap story if you all are interested. M got to wear his costume to school, but Mh didn’t get a pic before he left. I’m sure his teacher will post a bunch, though. We were invited to a trick or treat party in the neighborhood of one of Ms classmates. They will have stuff for kids and adults, so I’m looking forward to it. The kids will do a parade around the neighborhood and I’m sure they will all be cute. Can’t wait! Hope everyone has a great day!

My boss is "working" on our annual performance evaluations. He wants us to give him a list of our accomplishments over the past year. I hate bragging on myself! This is sooooo hard! Plus, I don't remember what I did last week, let alone over the past year! I should start keeping a running list of this stuff. Do you guys have to do this sort of thing, is it normal? Or is my boss just taking the easy way out and making me basically write my own performance appraisal?
