So I'm sending pizza to the school Wednesday for their Halloween party lunch. How many pizzas do I need? I was thinking 2 cheese and 2 of their pepperoni jackolantern pizzas(you know the ones they shape like a pumpkin and use pepperoni to make the face). Those are thin crust though...do kids like thin crust? Should I just do 3 cheese and no jack o lanterns?
ETA: oops, guess you need to know the number of kids. They said to supply enough for 14 kids.
Almost kids have 1-2 slices Right? So 2 cheese and 1 jackolantern? Depending on how many cuts I'm seeing now it says the jackolantern comes uncut. That might be a pain in the ass for the teacher right? |

That’s nice of you, @klongoria! I think I would either do all jack-o’-lantern or all cheese. I’d hate for there not to be enough of one kind. That being said, I probably choose plain because the pepperoni is a chance with some kids who either don’t like the spice of it or might be vegetarian. If it’s a typical eight slice pie, I think three pies would be more than enough. The teacher told the class that if no one signed up for sandwiches then they would just have to eat the school ravioli. They all hate the school ravioli, so I asked if I could change it to pizza and she said sure. |

Oh God Damn...there's a confirmed case of lice at Evie's preschool. I'm going to Walgreens for tea tree oil to add to her shampoo. Anyone else know any remedies to keep them from getting lice? I'm so skeeved out just talking about it.

vino , I like the pants on the model, but I feel like on anyone who is not perfectly tall and skinny, they might not look right. (not to say you are not perfect, but you know what I mean) klong11 , I was thinking the same thing. I've not even been that active since the beginning, I'd say I probably started really participating when they were toddlers, but there seem to be so many gone. How do we get them back?? Esp the super regulars... I never get how someone can go from participating multiple times per day to stopping cold turkey (obviously barring something like a fight or something). I think some of them didn't make it over?
I was hoping kamakaziartist would come back when I tagged her in the birthday thread, but maybe I did it wrong and you can't tag people in the thread titles? |

I use a B&B product that has tea tree oil in it for Josie. And I try my hardest to always have her hair up for school.

vino I love the pants! flamingo I bought rice krispie treats with halloween sprinkles for Evie's Halloween party. I'm just going to individually bag them, so I put some effort into them. Ha! I did get some Halloween sprinkles to make mine festive. I saw premade ones in the Walmart bakery last week, but Wally World is way out of my way so I just decided to make them myself. I'm sure at 10 o'clock tonight I'll be regretting my decision to DIY  |

Lice is my worst nightmare. We never had them growing up (I don't remember ever hearing about them at school), so I'm terrified one of the kids will come home with them and I won't catch it quickly and/or I'll have no clue what to do.
Random, but speaking of...Did ggandlee sell the big house they built? I saw her mom or someone post pics of her house/yard on FB today, and it was pretty but definitely not the same farmhouse/land they built a year or two ago.

Hello!! It's taken me hours to finally make it to the end of the thread - apparently work is cramping my style. As it has a lot lately. BOO. I have so much to do this week before our trip to Nashville next week and I'm taking 1/2 a day on Wednesday so I can get to Chase's parade at daycare in the morning and Colin's at the elementary school in the afternoon. I'll basically be popping in and out, which sounds nice but I'm sure will be a big old pain.
So random but I was telling my MAT guy this morning about Colin's "girlfriend" and mentioned her by name. As it turns out, she's his new girlfriend's niece - small freaking world. He thought it was hysterical and assured me that she is a total spitfire and diva, and he's confident that she's fully assumed A's old role as Colin's keeper. LOL.

C is 5 and the Sox won the world series on his birthday 5 years after their last win. It feels cosmic! . I have to correct you 😜, they won October 30th 2013... I was kinda hoping they’d win on the same day at home field this time! But yaaay Sox! I knew it wasn’t the exact day but I was still in the hospital. |
