Morning! What’s everyone up to today?

I’m starting my new temporary position today! Kinda excited. But the drive sucks. 1 hour each way. And my day is a lot longer now. I won’t get home till 6 each night. So I’ve had to line up new after school care for S. And I’m going to miss the first class party on Wednesday for Halloween. MH is able to go though.

Morning! You just beat me to starting the thread, I was just about to do it. Regular Monday here. Both girls have a little bit of a cough and cold. Fx that S’s doesn’t turn into an EI, but I have a feeling it probably will.

My pedi says to start using the nasal spray as soon as they get a cold, it helps drain everything out, the blockage is partly the cause of a lot of EI’s. Fingers crossed!

Morning girls . School started again today and DST started yesterday over here... fun times. My sister is still here, which is great! Also I’m having major mom guilt about tomorrow being ds’ real birthday and not having a present for him. I should have kept one aside on Sunday, but I forgot. I *think* someone is going to have to take a trip to the city this afternoon 🙄.

I’ve been the busiest and most overwhelmed in my entire life. I’ve had a total judgement lapse and let mh talk me into getting a dog. Meanwhile he has a busy career, w late nights and occasional trips, so guess who’s left running the show. (Not that I don’t have a busy job myself).
So yea, that’s us right now- 3 ring circus. My ILs are coming tmrw night for a visit and I’ve never been so excited for their arrival!

Morning! Just drop Josie off at school, now Charlie and I are here baking cookies.
Kids are snotty snotty disasters, but it’s clear so I’m guessing it’s a change of seasons-allergy-whatever-everybody-else-has kind of thing.
I need to make it over to T.J. Maxx at some point because I bought extra costumes for the kids when it wasn’t clear what they would be, and they need to be returned before Halloween

Oh, I forgot to mention...as I barely got out the door on time this morning, when I get to the end of my driveway (off the highway, but driveway is about a 1/2 mile long from road with a buffer of woods between house and highway) there was a bunch of empty beer cans thrown out on the driveway. So I picked them up and text mh - he thinks it was some local kids that he’s been having trouble with (wrote tickets to them for MIP and possession of drugs). They flip him off every time they pass him in town, ect. But it was clearly intentional the way there was so many...like probably 15-20. If it had just been 1 I could hunger some asshole littering randomly...but instead it was some asshole just being an asshole on purpose.

I took M to Chuck E Cheese yesterday because I apparently hate myself. 3:30pm is not a desirable time to go because they're ridiculously crowded. She had fun though.

Currently at work trying to get EOM reports to complete before Wednesday. Exciting times over here.

tgrimes E's grandparents take her to Chuck E Cheese...so far, we haven't had to set foot in one, and I hope to keep it that way.

I just emailed the application to the foster mom for the puppy. The only concern I have (not much of one really), is that I know they will contact our vet. Paige was due for her vaccinations right about the time I put Luna down, and I just haven't made it in with her, because it's going to be hard going back in there. I'm hoping they will understand that and it won't keep us from adoption.

I also got on Truecar.com last night about a new Jeep. I've received emails and text messages from another dealer and know that the dealership I've been working with will get notification as well. Hopefully this makes something actually happen!

Yes it is, thank you. We are fortunate that we back up to a park so no more building is allowed.
We are putting up a fence though (for the doggie). That should be done in 2-3weeks.

mwhip I don't mind going but we usually go as soon as they open, so it's not crowded.

On a scale of 1-10, I’d put her at a 6. She’s not as hyper as other puppies I’ve known, busy she def has those moment when she runs around like a lunatic.

We had a great experience w CEC last winter, I think it may have been MLK day and the place was dead. There was seriously like 5 other kids there.

mwhip, I think they just call the vet to make sure you are actually a client there, the vet isn't going to tell them any other information.

I told the foster about Luna's passing and noted it on the application for why Paige is a month behind, so hopefully, being honest, doesn't bite me in the butt.  Fingers crossed though!
