I've lost my voice so it's up to MH today to direct the craziness st the party. I'm glad it's at the skating rink so they can just do their own thing most of the time. We got a lot of late RSVPs so while I previously had plenty of gift bags now I'm worried I'll be short.

We're having a lazy morning; the sun is out so that's a nice change from the last few days. Our neighborhood is having a fall festival this afternoon so we might try and do that. I also need to pull together the supplies for our trunk-or-treat set-up so a trip to Michael's is probably on the horizon.

good luck with the party today inthekitty. I still remember the roller skating party I had one year, I'm sure the kids will love it!

Just got done with errands and I got Colin's invite done last night, so I have big plans of relaxing and/or napping this afternoon. I have laundry to put away but that still leaves me some time.

Chase's sized-up Cookie Monster costume arrived and it's perfect. He looks so freaking cute.

I was worried too and then a few kids forgot to take theirs so even though I had 25 bags and 21 kids, I still had 6 bags left.

Also I hate junky toys too but C picked out his stuff and I gotta say, I’ve never seen people more excited for finger skateboards and bouncy balls.

My sister D just angered me. She was suppose to do E’s baptism and now she doesn’t want to. We’ve been planning this for months. I’m respecting her wishes but now I need to find a minister in a city I’ve never gone to church in.

Dh and I ran a 5k this morning and C ran the kids race. He was a bit low energy so he didn’t go as fast as usual by had fun. His cousin got 4th place and got a trophy and C was all upset he didn’t get one.

I didn’t train for this race and haven’t run in months but shaved a minute and a half off my time from last year so yay BBM! Dh and I ran together the whole time and it felt good to do something together.

On our way to my parents in a few for my dad and Cs bday party there.

Oh and one of Cs friends went to the trampoline park today. His mom texted me and was so embarrassed and felt horrible for getting the day wrong. I was wondering where he and his brother were yesterday since I know the family a little better and know it’s not like them but didn’t want to bother them. We are going to schedule a makeup play date. And I think we will make up a goodie bag for him.

The kids are playing, mh is writing college letters of recommendation (I do not miss this part of the job), and I’m bingeing hot ones. Does anyone else watch this?!?

Just got back from Michael's. Apparently Halloween and Thanksgiving are over and I'm already behind on Christmas.

I finally remembered to look and I have a size 5 snow suit chrisy01. Its bibs so he'll need a coat. When is your trip?

The party was really fun and worked out well. One gift bag to spare! The nice thing about skating is even most of the adults get out and have fun. We have just the right amount of food. I think we'll do the same thing next year.

Same here flamingo. I loooved my skating party when I was a kid. Hopefully they'll have good memories.

Cass is an introvert like me and hates crazy behavior and loud noise. She was in her element snacking, skating, and socializing when she wanted.

I will admit, it's easier to get into the spirit here b/c we actually get chilly fall weather. Hard to feel festive when it's still 85 degrees out back home! 

FFSC: I started a new Pinterest board today, I'm planning to add some new Christmas decor this year and wanted to make a game plan vs. just buying random things. It's helping me figure out my overall vision, lol. DH thinks I'm nuts. I enjoyed browsing at Michael's by myself, though, and seeing everything before it gets too picked over.

I spoke too soon today. Everyone was fine then the rest of the afternoon was peppered with my name every 30 seconds.
I tried to watch The Greatest Showman with the kids. We got one hour in, Josie cried approximately 1.2 million times.

She already changed her mind her son was being a real jerk to her and made her feel like she wasn’t good at anything so she said she didn’t want to. My mom talked with her and all is ok

When did pumpkin patches become a place for dogs? There were more dogs than people! Next year I hope there is less rain so I'll be able to take Cadence to a big one. We went to 2 different tiny ones today and Cadence was unimpressed and it was hard to even get a smile out of her.

klong11 Cute pic! And I'm with you about the dogs...saw some last weekend at the pumpkin patch (which is in the yard of a church and fairly close quarters..not a huge expansive farm/field). Today at our neighborhood's event a couple brought their very large dogs, and the dogs started barking--clearly very anxious--before they even crossed into the park. It was just not an appropriate setting for them. The owners kept trying to coax them into the park and I'm not sure if one of the organizers said something or they finally gave up, but I didn't see them again.

Ladies I’m thinking of starting a petition asking Amazon Prime to remove a the anti-vaccine propaganda from Prime. Would you sign it. They have around 10 “documentaries” about how vaccines are bad.
