I was going to early vote today, but tomorrow I don’t have DS, so will do it then. I can’t wait. I think I'm voting tomorrow too. Beto is supposed to be as some of the SA polling places tomorrow so I'm debating on trying to hit one of those events vs just get it done quickly. :::runs off to stalk his Twitter and IG::: Actually, I would live to see him, but I can’t stand or walk for very long without being in a lot of pain, so I’ll probably not attend. Boo.

My boss and his wife early voted on Friday (in GA 6th!). He said he considered taking a picture of him voting for Kemp (FAKE voting) just to freak me out but he decided not to play such a mean trick on me.
Chalk two up for Abrams and for McBath!! WOOT.

I have everything crossed for Stacey Abrams. Fuck Kemp and his racist voter suppression.

My friend who calls himself Republican but is really a moderate dem voted for Abrams in early voting. Also, I only saw one Kemp sign the whole time I was in Atlanta last week. But my friends kept reminded me that I was in the bubble. Which I know because I used to live and love that bubble.

Too bad Kemp purged me from the rolls. I could have early voted in GA and not voted in CA. 🤣

So interesting, I know a few people out there who call themselves "conservative" but are absolutely NOT conservative. It's just a part of their identity, I guess? It's weird to me but I have had multiple conversations with coworkers that start out as "I'm conservative" but them get into "but everyone should have healthcare" and "love is love" and "a woman's right to choose is between her and her doctor" and I always end with "dude you are NOT conservative.

Yeah, I think it’s hard to let go of that identity when you’re raised that way and when everyone you know calls themselves that. That’s exactly the scenario with my friend.

I am so jealous of anyone who gets to cast a vote for Beto O'Rourke and Stacey Abrams.
I hope to be able to vote for either some day.

Not sure if anyone saw but the "Board for Black Votes to Continue Trumps Agenda" made an add for the radio saying that what would happen to their husbands, sons, fathers if a white woman wrongfully cries rape. They need to keep Republicans to protect the men. And this was 2 women in the commercial.
I don't really have a horse in this race because it is in Alabama or Arkansas but wow.

Fiscally I absolutely am. And will remain to claim that. The "conservatives" you are thinking of are extremists. Do not let the extremists be your measuring stick.

CA 48 is going to be a shit show. We need to get Rohrbacher out. There's some very strange, suspicious stuff going on in orange county and my district, so I'm not sure all voters will be able to vote.

I voted today. Waited over an hour which was hard with all 4 kids with me. But I was surprised at how many people had Beto buttons/shirts on. Didn't see a single Cruz shirt/button and I'm in a red leaning area. I'm nervous AF. Ready for results

NY01 is rated anywhere from leans Republican to solid Republican. I'm really hoping that Zeldin will go this year, he is awful.

I tried to vote early today in Austin and had to leave because the wait was 2+ hours. My mom had the same scenario in Dallas. Never seen anything like it. We’ll try again later this week!

I’m nervous. I need to stop reading the comments under the Dem candidates. I feel like I walk around stink eyeing strangers.

I texted for Beto on Saturday. It was a pop up shop (volunteering) text. Someone just wrote me back tonight telling me she voted for him today. <3

I’m annoyed. The NDP sent out postcards to fill out to request your ballot by mail. Cool. Except they put the wrong deadline date on it. Not cool. I was excited to not have to drag all the kids out and try to wrangle them while voting, but I guess they’ll be coming along. That also means DH can’t vote here because he’ll be in MN. richard do you know if he can still register to vote there? Not richard , but he can register day of at the polls. He just needs to bring his photo ID and then bring his parents to vouch for him living in the voting district (I'm assuming he's living at his parents?). www.sos.state.mn.us/elections-voting/register-to-vote/register-on-election-day/Yes, this. They can vouch for him if they're registered. MN tries to make it as easy as possible.

Every state should have early voting. My very pregnant self agrees with this. And I don’t mean Virginia’s bullshit “you have to have one of these excuses to vote early”. Voting early should be for anyone who wants to, no reason needed.

Long lines are being reported here, which is amazing since we have notoriously low voter turnout. The selfish part of me hopes I don’t have to stand for a long time tomorrow.

I see this a good bit in SC, but people are too brainwashed into thinking the GOP is the only way so they can't cross parties. My mom has a lot of more liberal views but won't consider herself liberal. She did tell me she's voting for the Democratic candidate for governor though, so that's a win.
