Seriously, I cannot wait for the kids to be old enough to read HP and have an excuse to buy all.the.stuff.

peachsmama, oh no! I'm so sorry! When we had rabbits, our dog got 4 of them and lined them up right outside our back door. My mom saw it right when she got up. It was bad. She was so mad at our dog. However, what we determined was that the rabbits actually dug their way out and he was trying to catch them for her, not kill them.

Oh peachsmama that's so sad. I'm sorry. Our rabbit came to an untimely end, as well; a neighbor's german shepherd got loose and destroyed the hutch. The outside hutches can be dicey :/ Poor bunnies.

peachsmama, because of the way it is cleared more inside like in a wide spot flaring off the hole, it's really possible. Go ahead and continue putting food in their pen, they may come back.

I do have scarves as accessories, like to wear all day at work. But just with a coat because it's cold? One, it's very colorful, so I could wear it with anything. And I never wear it. I hate what scarves do to the underside of my hair.

I'm sorry that you lost one peachsmama, but I'm glad the other one is alive. Can you find ways to reinforce the bottom of their cage to avoid them tunneling out or anything else tunneling in?

peachsmama I’m sorry you lost one of your bunnies. flamingo I cannot believe the PM blamed you guys for the microwave. That is nuts. It’s a good thing you guys forged a relationship with the owner. He seriously needs to fire her. I wonder how much he pays to have the service?!

He seriously needs to fire her. I wonder how much he pays to have the service?! I know, it's insane. We sent the owner pics when the microwave first died, just kind of as an FYI (hey, this is coming down the pipe), so fortunately he had no reason to doubt us, and yes, it helps that there is a history there and he's aware of the PM's...ahem, shortcomings. Typically PMs charge around 8-10% of the rent for their services, so they are paying a couple hundred bucks each month for basically more headaches. If it were ME, I would self-manage, since they know they have good, responsible tenants in the house for another 18-20 months, and then see how it goes and either continue with that or choose a new PM when we move out. I am hoping that's what they'll do.

peachsmama, if you put like 1inch thick pavers down and then put their fencing on top of it that will prevent them from being able to get out. Just make sure they are wide enough that they are stick out of both sides as well...does that make sense?

I'm glad you found the one safe and sound peachsmama. Sorry about the 2nd one We had our hutch up on stilts against the side of the house. I don't know if that would be an option; not as nice as them hopping on bare grass but it did prevent escapes. OR put wire on the bottom of the hutch so that grass could still come up thru it but they couldn't dig out.

I have a clogged tear duct I think on the inside corner of my eye. It hurts like a bitch. It’s been about 5 days and doesn’t seem to be getting any better. Anyone have any tips to help? I’ve tried a warm compress a few times but not helping.

We are going into town today to do some shopping. This trip has been amazing but I am missing my girl something fierce! I just want a giant hug and snuggle from her!

And we'll do it asap. @klongoria I drag their hutch over to fresh grass every couple days so I doubt I could do the pavers. Should I get another one to keep her company?

peachsmama sorry about the other bunny. DS1 has had glasses for 10 days and lost them at school today. He called me hysterical while I was picking up the others. I was freaked out at first that he walked in on a break in because it was the same time my neighbors were broken into the other day. Today is 4 years since my MIL passed away. DH’s cousin swears she contacted her through a medium this weekend. DH doesn’t want to hear about it, I kinda do.

hooray mamabear! I know y'all are happy to have that behind you. On the upside, at least now it's done and you won't have to worry about it later this winter.
