Morning! L and I are up, the boys are still asleep. I need to start moving to get ready for school drop off.

I’m making eggs for everyone, and trying to make a plan for the day.

Back to work today. I'm a little nervous about it.

Pete: X thinks that you look like Jennifer Aniston. He saw her on a magazine at the doctor's office and pointed to it then said "mommy."

Me: Well. He DOES need an eye exam with the ophthalmologist.

Should be a quiet day here. Most of our staff is at a trade show for the week, my boss took the day off, so there are no upper managers here today. I plan on doing as little as possible. Which isn't much different than normal.

I sent Evie to preschool today...I'm going to be questioning that decision until 10:45. Yesterday she woke up and told me her tummy hurt. She didn't really act like she didn't feel well, ate breakfast like expected, but laid down on the sofa next to me and fell asleep. She never naps for me, so I knew she wasn't feeling good then. When she woke up, she said she felt better, but a little while later, said her tummy hurt again. We did run a quick errand, but she didn't want to go to Target because of how bad she felt. She did end up having diarrhea one time. This morning she came into bed with me and told me her tummy still hurt. She felt a little warm, but not feverish. She was going to IHOP with the grandparents, who will then drop her off at preschool, so I'm sure they'll let me know if she shouldn't go (SMIL is a retired teacher).

I was wiped and went to bed around 7 last night. 60 hr work weeks are for the birds (or the youth I guess).

Maddie has half days all this week. Today will be nice. I'll have a little time to myself to clean while they're at school and then some girl time.

Morning. I moved to the guest room at 1 due to DH's snoring, since he's got the same cold as me. Colin was having nightmares so after calming him down, I couldn't get back to sleep. The mattress we have on the guest bed is my IL's old one and it's AWFUL. I slept through my alarms and got up with just enough time to brush my teeth and put my hair in a ponytail before getting the boys up. I'm working from home because I have a 2pm doctor's appointment, so at the least, it's the perfect day to be unshowered and grumpy.

Ds will have half days for the next 2 years and then one full day in 1st grade, two in 2nd grade etc. I love this .

City of Austin is under a boil water notice. This means that my entire FB newsfeed is people sharing the news story about boiling water. Fun times.
Maybe my water bill will be lower this month.

We got ds a very nice bike back in May, but apparently it was too big for him. He refused to ride it. Yesterday we find him a very cheap second hand mini bike online and he learned how to ride it within 10 minutes!!! We’re now turning it red (it was pink, and he wanted a red one) and fixing it up a little. I’m proud, I must admit .

Yes!  It's Thursday morning.  He's still snotty and his temp is 99.  He's also been super whiny the past several days.  Not sure if it's teeth, his ears or just his age.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
