wedding, I think you look great, but I agree you look a bit casual. I think boots might dress it up a bit more than the flats do.

Hi! mamabear I hope you get the new furnace soon. I can appreciate your frustration! We are about an hour and twenty minutes out from my parents’; my sister is bringing my nephew over this afternoon and I’m excited! I am trying to release my annoyance and stress from the PM situation and just enjoy the weekend; it helps that I’m not in the house staring at a broken microwave 😬

Charlie and the car seat may be the death of me. It’s a struggle to get him in or out — he needs to do to it, but he can’t do the bottom part of the harness ( in or out) and wants no help. Then there’s the crying. He cries when we leave the house because he wants to stay home (said with at least 17 O’s), then he reverses the cry when we leave wherever we are bc he wants to stay (that also has about 17 a’s) I know it’s stage, but it is exhausting ETA: This entire scenario makes me extremely snappish at Josie (who has done nothing wrong), but I want her just do the things she’s supposed to do without being prompted or having to answer a hundred questions. I want to scream, “Read the room!” I don’t, mainly I wish I could.

That is frustrating guster. Sometimes I feel like 90% of parenting is repeating the mantra "it's just a phase" and trying not to lose my mind.

SSDD here. Since it's apparent work is not going to slow down I'm trying to get caught up as much as possible before I head to the wonders of Wisconsin in 2 weeks.

For me too, half the time if he goes and gets ready, B will just follow him and it solves all our problems!!

I think your shoes make it look more casual. A wedge heel or boot may dress it up a bit. Ponte leggings are always thicker, more dressy as well. Maybe a necklace would help, too?

We had to wrestle her into the seat as quickly as possible and be ready to buckle the straps as soon as her butt was in the seat otherwise she would climb to the front seats and refuse to move.

Hi! Enjoy your family this weekend! flamingoguster car seat struggles are the worst. I sympathize with the struggle of wrestling with one kid while the other kid has a million questions, too. Not easy.

At work. My eyes are so heavy. I have had two cups of coffee and they haven’t helped at all. I just want to take a nap. Soccer this afternoon. One more week, then we are free from that commitment. I’m happy to have those two evenings back. Hope everyone has a great day!

I remember it with Josie. It was earlier than this. She just 2, so I had high hopes that maybe it was going to skip with Charlie. No luck there.

Hi hi - I have a neurologist appt this afternoon and hoping I'll pass inspection. I am feeling more normal today bit have some tingling on my right side which is annoying but hopefully will go away eventually. I considered going to work but the deciding factor was that I have salmon leftovers and I don't want my coworkers to kill me by microwaving that. On a call my pregnant coworker was very appreciative, ha.

I think your shoes make it look more casual. A wedge heel or boot may dress it up a bit. Ponte leggings are always thicker, more dressy as well. Maybe a necklace would help, too? Would you do a riding boot or a bootie? I tried a bootie this morning but it looked funny. It’s definitely more casual than normal but my boss is away so I figured it was worth the risk.

We're on this phase, too, and it's made extra worse by the fact that X is enormous. He's the same size as the four year-oldest preschool.

I have a pair of black suede booties that I put on with my black leggings when I want to look more than casual. You still look great, but I get what you mean about just feeling more casual for work.

X woke up saying owie and holding his ear. He had blood and pus all over his pillow, so we'll be heading in to the pedi in a bit. I'm sure three days of Rocephin injections will be in order.
We just came from feeding therapy and the OT determined his SPD is severe and she's having their director observe next week to decide how they want to proceed with additional therapies (social, proprioceptive, play, speech, etc). She also thinks ABA is in order right when he turns three, but i'm going to let the developmental pedi make the call on that. So, not a super fun day over here.

My hair is back to my natural color and I'm really having a hard time getting used to it. It hasn't been this dark in at least eight years, maybe ten.

cagoldi, sorry about the tough news with X. I'm glad he is getting the therapies to help him! What is ABA?
