I’m waiting outside of speech. It’s Cs first check in after summer break. I think his S words are a lot better by T B V and R need work. I’m hoping he will be out of speech by the time we hit kindergarten next year.
Also Dunks was packed so I didn’t get coffee prior so I’m tired and my stomach is growling. C had a sleepover in my room last night since Dh comes home tonight. We had great pillow talk and were asleep by 8:15. I should feel rested but I’m tired.

Also I’m questioning my outfit choice today. I’m wearing a long sweater and put leggings under since I saw others doing it. But I feel my leggings are too casual. I don’t have time to stop home to change before I go to work so hopefully no one notices. I asked on GD but maybe someone here has recs on more work appropriate leggings to wear under sweaters or dresses?

Morning! Just finished taking a shower since I couldn’t get back to sleep. I’m about to wake LO and C up for the day. C was up late last night so I’m sure this will be fun.
Working the new job again today and I’m back to the old one tomorrow to cover a vacation day.

wedding leggings are against the rules at work so no help here. I do like the thicker Vera wang they sold at Kohls last year. They aren’t see through. I’m sure they have them again this year but I haven’t been to Kohl’s in awhile.

wedding I’m of no help, only wear pantyhose leggings with skirts/dresses at least to my knees to work, but you look Great lately, so I’m sure you’re fine! ETA plus I love a good pillow talk with ds, I cherish those minutes of peace and feeling connected.

I think I'd have to see a picture, but I wear leggings with long sweaters/shorter dresses in the fall/winter, usually with higher boots and don't worry about it. But I work in a super casual office.

At work and bored. I just want to leave. I feel on edge lately and I don’t know why this feeling pops up so often over little things. It’s not like me. Fall break is next week for Dh and ds, glad to have them home for the whole week  . |

I haven’t purchased them yet, but I like the faux leather Spanx leggings. Some of them have a nice detail that I think dresses then up.

Pretty much groundhog day over here. We have gymnastics in about an hour, then I need to run a few errands, and I’ll take the kids out to eat something for lunch.

Morning. I feel like I’m 80, so many aches and pains this morning. Both girls have school this morning. It’s going to get to almost 70 today which is great since last week it was in the 40s and snowed.

One of the local weather people I follow on Facebook said there is a chance of a pre-Halloween storm. I’m not putting much stock into it because it’s super early, but I am very glad I secured a plowing company for the driveway and walkways yesterday!

H looked up the weather forecast for Halloween a week ago. It was so cold here last year, in the 30s and windy. Plus it was 3.5 weeks after his knee replacement, so walking around trick or treating was miserable for all of us. Fingers crossed this year is better! |

I had to google how to play Mega Millions. H is travelling through lots of small towns in Nebraska this week, so I told him to buy tickets. We clearly don't lotto much.

Morning! It's our first really cool day, we're not expecting to hit 50 degrees. The first day is always tough, knowing how much worse it'll get!
I have a cold but with my co-manager in HK all week, I have to be here. I just want to cancel all my meetings but... no dice. Boo. DH and Chase also have colds. Poor Chase coughed himself awake around 3am so I went in to rub his back and try to get him to relax so he could fall back to sleep. Fortunately I took some PM medicine so I was back to sleep quickly.

Rain and gloom again today. Lots of flooding and opening of dams. Luckily, where we are is fine, but people on the outskirts have had a lot of damage already and it's supposed to rain for the next 3 days.
They said on the radio this morning that the lakes here have had as much water in the past week as it takes the entire city of Austin to use in 4 years. Which is just crazy to me.

klong11, did I tell you DH is going to Austin over Halloween? I tried to add on but flights were so expensive and I didn't want C to miss all the Halloween stuff with his friends. I was sad because I knew I could have been hanging with you and your C.
