Does anyone have suggestions for super cheap sports bras for big boobs? Mine are getting too tight. I am a 34D right now, but if history repeats itself I will gain another cup size or two. Medium impact would be ideal, but low impact is fine.

Yesterday, the high was 70 and lovely. Today, barely into the 40s. I know I wanted cooler weather but damn! Sweaters, not coats!

Medium impact would be ideal, but low impact is fine. I'm a 36D-DD normally and mine are expanding rapidly! I've had good luck with the champion brand from target and danskin from Walmart. Both brands have a style with individual cups versus the unaboob ones, which I prefer. They are pretty inexpensive and hold up well. I can often catch them on clearance at Target. I work out fairly high impact 3 days a week.

Oooo I just remembered that I have some new wax bars for my warmer at home. I'm thinking some fall scents and soup will be on the schedule for tonight. Maybe also a bath after the kids are in bed.

@amc, also curious how big my boobs will get this time around. Last time, 34DD bras were too tight, after which I switched to size L nursing bras. I wish I measured myself at the largest. It was... impressive. And a little scary. LOL.

notagoddess I feel you! VS sports bras are on sale for $25 each right now I believe. Just bought a wire free bra there last week, what a life changer! Some of their sports bras come in sizes S M L so maybe they'd have more flexibility to wear longer? By six weeks pregnant I'd grown from 32DD to 34DDD and bought one underwire bra that I've written every day since well at least every day that I wore a bra lol,, and it took until the last couple weeks to grow the next size to 36DDD, so I'm really curious if this is the end or not, but only bought one at this size as well because money! DH will just have to deal with the boring underthings. I've also got only a five pack of under bump undies and maybe 3 or 4 pre pregnancy pairs that I can wear comfortably now so oh well.

notagoddess I bought a comfortable maternity/nursing bra from Motherhood Maternity that I really like, similar to a sports bra. It’s called the seamless clip down nursing bra. I wear a size large and am usually a C but probably closer to a D now and still have a little space to grow. The largest size that’s showing online is XL... I’m not sure if it’d fit you or not but worth a shot!

thelittleredm Fall smells make everything better! Last week I really couldn’t get over how amazing my apple cinnamon candle smelled. It definitely helped me feel like Fall was finally here. Enjoy your 40 degree weather! I’m kind of jealous since it got up to 84 today and the high is 88 tomorrow. Fall weather is welcome anytime now!

Well. My check up went mostly fine. Little girl's heartrate was 145 and strong. We discussed the results of the A/S and for the most part, everything is measuring right on time. Of course, they couldn't get pictures of her face or measurements of her heart but we knew that already. My midwife did mention that the tech noted above average thickness of her neck and that the doctor who checked it said they didn't know if it was an actual abnormal thickness or just how she was curled up so they want it checked again since that can be a marker for Downs. My midwife said there isn't anything significant in that for this gestational age and said it is highly unlikely to be a cause for concern but she's referring us to a high risk ultrasound clinic because they have better machines and it'll eliminate any second guessing versus doing it at her office with imaging that could be misleading. So. There we go. Have to call and schedule it tomorrow.
I don't think there's anything wrong, personally, but the discussion put me in a not great head space and when DS1 broke a jug of milk in the parking lot right after we left the grocery store, I just wanted to cry. I think I'm just over tired and, you know. Hormonal. Pregnant. Etc.

thelittleredm I'm sorry for your ambiguous scan results. That follow up scan can't come fast enough! I know that the nuchal translucency scan that measures that neck area to check for risk of downs etc must be done by 13 or 14 weeks because that measurement is only meaningful until then.

Hugs thelittleredm. I hope you can get the follow-up scan scheduled quickly to put your mind at ease.

Hi ladies!!
My last day at my job was Friday. But I didn’t finish everything I wanted to so I had to plug in all day yesterday and I probably have one more hour to do today. I’m sooooooo excited for the moment when I am done and truly free!
Right now H and I are at our town’s public school administration offices waiting for DS who is going through a behavioral eval. Hopefully it’s going well. I feel like he’s way more likely to want to play with all the toys in the school psych’s officr than to sit and do tests with her.
In the meantime I’m trying to catch up on here but H keeps interrupting me to show me crap in a book he’s looking at. Doesn’t he understand I need to internet right now?? 😆
Today is our 7 year anniversary so he’s WFH after this and we’re going out to dinner later.

thelittleredm I hope you can get some reassurance soon! I’ve heard of a lot of people having false positive soft markers for DS, but I know nothing will be reassuring until you get that follow up. dashook yay for your last day of work and happy anniversary. How has your BP been?

I saw A Star is Born this weekend. It was so good. Bradley Cooper and Gaga were amazing. I heard one of the songs from the movie on the radio this morning and by the time I got to work my mascara was running down my face.

thelittleredm I hope they can get you in quickly so you’ll know for sure there’s nothing to worry about!! My chest pain is really bothering me. I have an appointment on Thursday so I’ll ask the doctor then. This has been going on for awhile and it’s getting worse. It feels like a pinched nerve in my chest. Sometimes it doesn’t hurt at all and other times it really burns. The only thing that helps is stretching way out which makes me think my organs or the baby is pressing up against a nerve or something is bruised. I’m not super worried but a little. I did some googling and I’ve read threads in other places where other women had the same thing so hopefully it’s nothing.

Medium impact would be ideal, but low impact is fine. I have some from VS that are bra sized and good for high impact (I play soccer when not pregnant) Soo much better than just s/m/l/xl! I have been a 34ddd but my bras are getting small. I'm waiting on some 36ddd to arrive in the mail since I couldn't find a time to actually get a store. I really hope they fit and that they go back down after this pregnancy!

So we have had a crazy few days. Sunday evening ds1 fell into a small end table and had a huge cut on his cheek. DH took him to the ER and he got suture glue. Well, last night he itched/scratched it and it reopened a bit. So I took him to the doctor this morning to get re-glued, and the doctor told us to cover it (ER had said not to). His poor cheek/eye are so bruised now, but he's quite the trooper! I'm worried about how many times we will go through this with 3 boys in the house!
Got my flu shot yesterday so my arm is sore, and I scheduled my Tdap booster for later in the week. Last week I took my glucose test and am really hoping I passed!

dashook yay for your last day of work and happy anniversary. How has your BP been? Haha thanks for asking, and thanks for the reminder to take it! It’s 140/90 ATM which constitutes hypertension in a normal person, but for me it’s “good.” I try not to worry over the fact that it’s still that high when I’m taking a big dose of meds 3 times a day. I just hope they don’t increase it any more because the amount I’m taking now is pretty debilitating. 😕

Thanks ladies! I'm really not too concerned and I'm looking forward to some good pictures of baby, that's for sure. Just wasn't the direction I thought the appointment would take.

thelittleredm sorry for the stress! Hope it is fine and ends up just being another great look at your little girl and some more pics. I feel like they have these issues with ultrasounds all the time - we had to go to high risk for my last son due to a shadow on his heart that turned out to be nothing. But I understand the stress. Take a nap if you can (ha, I know) and you're allowed to be hormonal, you're pregnant!

So many of the meds that are safe for pregnancy have not so great side effects. I'm worried I'm developing some pregnancy induced HTN. It was elevated at my anatomy scan appointment but I was also a little anxious about everything looking okay. But the last 2 days my face has been flushed and my ears are hot which is a sign my BP might be up. I need to get one of the nurses to check it at work tomorrow. I take a high dose of a beta blocker already for a heart arrhythmia which makes me worry.

It's cold and windy out today so it's broccoli cheese soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner. I even made banana bread with DS1's help! I'm not a great baker but I do enjoy it. I should spend more time doing it this season.

We went out for a really nice anniversary dinner. I’m absolutely stuffed and super sleepy! I think DH thinks he’s getting some but I really am feeling this 9:30 bedtime 😬
