Welcome back cali! Always feel free to jump right in, it’s definitely understandable to not always have time to be here. Sorry for the sick kiddos jt2378 & pennylane. I hope they are feeling better. Good luck with the move too, pennylane. addymac, you are a great mom! Like everyone else has said, this is a tough time. They can be so naughty and also do not understand consequences yet. It’s hard, but I think sticking with redirecting and not giving a lot of reaction to them being naughty should set the standard for when they are older and can learn.

We went to the boo in the zoo event today and it was a lot of fun. It was super nice out, and it was bussssssy! So many kids. It was As first time at the zoo and he really enjoyed himself.

cali that would be hard not seeing the baby at all on working days but I'm glad it's just 3 days a week. I have horrible working mom guilt even though dh stays home with j. Ditto everyone with leap 9. J is glued to either DH or I all day everyday lately and its exhausting.

cali Good to hear from you. Working mom guilt is the worst. My DS1 now begs me to bring him to work with me, and it rips my heart. Agree leap 9 is such a doozy. He's pickier with his food and fighting the car seat. We went to Hershey Park in the dark this weekend and I would NOT recommend for the under three set. Most of their baby rides were closed or were kid only, and toddler H climbs everything, so I didn't trust him in it even with the safety belt. They have no play structures or anything, so he pretty much had to stay in the stroller or our arms the whole time besides a little walking. Dutch wonderland in Lancaster is much better for the littles.

TTMA teeth brushing. Are you doing it already? What toothbrush and toothpaste are you using? Once or twice a day? If you still breastfeed, do you brush after you nurse before putting them to bed?

The dr did just mention I should be doing it but I haven't been consistently, whoops...I use that baby one that is not even a real toothbrush but should probably look into getting a real one. If you use toothpaste, just make sure it doesn't have fluoride for now since they are still too little and shouldn't be swallowing it. I definitely do not brush after BF. I know they say you should but meh. I didn't with my first and her teeth are fine. This is different than the old days when people were putting kids in their cribs with bottles of whole milk and rotting their teeth to pieces, LOL

Thanks jt2378. I’ve seen the kid friendly toothpaste at target. I’ll have to pick some up next time I’m there.

We do once a day usually. We have a regular toothbrush that has super soft bristles. I think it's for 1-2 yr olds or something. And our pedi recommends toothpaste with fluoride but only a teeny amount (grain of rice size). We use Tom's for both kids. She loves her toothbrush and will happily naw on it multiple times a day (without toothpaste). She does not love the actual act of us brushing her teeth, though. And no, I brush her teeth before bed and then nurse her. 🤷♀️

My doctor said to start brushing as soon as he had more than 1 tooth. We only do it once a day and use baby toothpaste. Si we started around 9 months. I use a finger toothbrush right now but have a small soft bristle one I'll start using soon.

We started brushing shortly after her first bday. Usually morning and night but I use the term "brushing" very loosely. In the mornings I just let her brush her own teeth while I brush mine which is basically her just gnawing in her toothbrush. At night we actually help her really brush which she does not love and only allows for a few seconds. We use the Tom's toddler toothpaste which she really likes. She's always trying to put it on her toothbrush whenever she sees it, even when it's not brushing time.
