cagoldi that’s tough and a lot of work, sorry. Hopefully silver lining is that P will be able to eat it too?

The appointment itself wasn't bad, but the demands of this are really wearing on me, TBH. They want me to start making homemade baby food...For my two year-old. I'll do it, of course, but you can definitely file this under things I never thought I'd have to do. Is it because they want you to increase the texture and consistency at the speed X needs? I follow a blogger whose is son is in OT and food therapy (mainly from an unfound tongue and lip tie and the possibility of SPD). The therapists didn’t even start with food for the baby (16 months) but rather let him feel different textures in his hand, on his arms, and face before they could even get to actual ingestion and chewing. I’m found it all pretty fascinating but I’m sure also very frustrating for the parents.

Yeah that is part of the stuff the SLT did with ds around that age, stringy balls, squishing food, licking things. It is/was beyond frustrating.

They sell alcohol, right?? Should have read further because of course you’d say something too. Lol. Don't think I don't think about these things! Most important part of kid outings like this!

Yeah this is a lot of what we do during feeding therapy, too.

Thanks for all the cat thoughts, Ladies. Sounds like there is no one way to go. We will just pick someone who seems like a good fit.
