sammysam , that’s a great number! Are you doing a repeat beta, or is this it? I'm not doing a repeat because in my case it doesn't tell us anything. My numbers always have great doubling times even with both of my losses. They just wanted to have it as a baseline in case something happens down the road so that there is at least some sort of point of comparison. I know one single draw on its own means nothing but the fact that it's so much higher than the same dpo from June has at least given me some hope:) ETA my doctors seem happier with this number too...which has me feeling a bit calmer. I see. Then hopefully this will be the last one, since this baby seems determined to stick!

Thanks bonzo . I'm hoping. It's just waiting for that first ultrasound because my body loves being pregnant and hangs on to unviable pregnancies way way longer than it should. Which is why I've never known there was an issue until the first ultrasound:/ But I'm feeling much more confident this time around!

I had my first appt today. They found a lump in my breast that she believes is a cyst. So now I'm freaking out until I can get an ultrasound on it.
Then I fainted when they did my blood draw and they didn't even get as much as they needed but were able to hopefully make it work.
But, according to the Dr., everything feels the way it should for 6 weeks. I scheduled an ultrasound for next Thursday.

Oh no mamabear02 ! I'm sorry you are having to deal with the added stress:/ If it makes you feel any better my mom has always had a cyst in her breast that is just a big nothing. Hopefully yours is the same.

Sorry you are dealing with the extra stress mamabear02. I have known numerous people have lumps that turn out to just be cysts. And pregnancy does strange things to body's, so 8 know it it silly to say to not worry, it is a reasonably high chance it is not cancer. Hoping for quick, good answers for you!

I need some good vibes. I had my progesterone redrawn and it is lower than it was 1.5 weeks ago. Dr said it's still in normal range but sent me for HCG check and I have to go back for another Monday to get a sense of what is happening. I'm of course scared and emotional. H says Dr is just being thorough to assess everything due to my history.
I just want to catch a break. I can't go through another loss. I don't think I will survive it. And Francesco is getting worried bc he sees me upset.

Sending you hugs and good thoughts lolacachia. That is good news the doctor is still happy with the numbers, and hopefully just being over cautious. I have everything crossed for you that your baby is happy and healthy in there, and is a take home baby.

lolacachia Oh no! I'm sorry they are worrying you. I agree with your husband that they are likely just being thorough. I would tell you not to worry but I know that is impossible. Thinking of you and sending you all kinds of good thoughts for Monday!

lolacachia, hopefully it’s just a fluctuation, and your doctor is just being thorough. Even with supplementation my levels fluctuate a bit. Keeping everything crossed that Monday brings good results!

lolacachia,I hope everything is ok! And that they are just being extra careful. Just my experience but I had a pretty big progesterone drop my first pregnancy and I was sure something was wrong. But my fertility specialist wasn't concerned at all and said progesterone can fluctuate so much. And also that sometimes progesterone will start out on the high side and then drop. If you're still within normal limits that's a good sign!

So still ok from what I understand and maybe he really is just being cautious and thorough for me which makes me feel in good hands.

My 2 year old just jumped on the side of my stomach (I was laying down on my side) pretty hard. It does not hurt, but in knocked the wind out of me. I am a bit worried, i don't know if that is dumb because baby is pretty well protected in there, or if he could have done some actual damage.

I would call your office just to be safe, no harm in that. I'm sure everything is fine but I get worrying.

courtniko Not sure if it helps but when I was 6 months pregnant with DD I fell right on my belly, very hard, at work. I broke my ankle and fractured my shoulder (I thought heeled boots were still a good idea at that far along...until they met a puddle of water on a marble floor...). In any case, DD was completely fine and totally oblivious. All that to say it never hurts to get checked out but babies are surprisingly resilient and well protected in there. There is most likely nothing to worry about! Sorry you're having to deal with the stress:/

I just had a 30 minute argument with my diaper pail. DH walked over and, without once ever looking at, fixing or understanding how the thing works, he put it together and it was fixed.
I put it together three times and it was wonky every time. But he just strolls over and fixes it. I told him he is now in charge of fixing the thing when someone tries to stuff a diaper in there when its full.
Anyways. We're going to carve a pumpkin, then lunch, nap, and get ready for TOTing.

What have been your go to easy meals? H can't really prep meals bc of his work hours and I can't handle a long or intensive prep time bc of nausea but would also like healthy meals. What are your favorite easy ones to handle in this stage?

What have been your go to easy meals? H can't really prep meals bc of his work hours and I can't handle a long or intensive prep time bc of nausea but would also like healthy meals. What are your favorite easy ones to handle in this stage? I'm the worst. I'm living off soup and toast. But my favourite meals to cook for other people while pregnant are: Just throw some chopped up veggies (we usually do zucchini, onions, mushrooms, eggplant, whatever) and sliced potatoes in a pan with some salt and some olive oil (you can throw meat in with it if it doesn't turn your stomach...SO likes it with sausage but while pregnant I can't have meat cooking...) and throw it in the oven covered for about 35 minutes. Salmon is also easy...put salmon (with the skin) on a pan (we drizzle saracca sauce on it) and bake in oven. Steam white rice and kale as sides. Or white fish (whatever kind is safe during pregnant) in a pan either with cherry tomatoes and olives, or with lemon, salt and olive oil. Same sides as above. Also steak is super easy if you can handle the smell. Easy to oven grill. We usually do it with oven roasted sweet potatoes or potatoes and some sort of steamed veggies. Or pasta. I like to make my sauce by just chopping up cherry tomatoes, sun dried tomatoes, basil, salt and olive oil and throwing it all in a pan on the stove. Or rice noodle soup. Basically chicken broth with whatever veggies you can stomach, and rice noodles. You can put real chicken in if you're feeling adventurous. All of the above take 45 minutes or less start to finish. Not sure if any of that is helpful. The nausea just kicked in for me today and all I could stomach was toast, chicken broth, and eggs:/

mamabear02, I had so many good intentions pre-nausea. I did some freezer meal prep for the slow cooker, but now want nothing to do with the house smelling like food all day. We get Sun Basket deliveries a couple times a month, and those have also been too flavorful for me lately. I hate to say it, but I’ve been relying a lot on frozen food. I had barely bought frozen meals in the last 6 years, but right now they’re the easiest way to make sure I’m eating. No prep, no cooking, very little smell. I’m trying to buy the healthier brands at least.

bonzo, that might have to be what I do. I've been resorting to chicken nuggets and mac and cheese this week, which is okay occasionally, but probably shouldn't be our go to.

I hope you’re able to find something more than toast and broth to get you through 1st tri! We do but I don't like most packaged gf foods. Plus it's super expensive. It's easier to just cook one ingredient foods and at least then I can be sure that there's no cross contamination etc. And since DD and SO are not gluten free I can't justify spending that kind of money on only myself. A small loaf of bread is 6$...which is crazy to me. So I'm hoping eggs, broth, rice noodles fruits and veggies will get me through:)
