Morning! It's cool here too - 50 degrees! Great running weather. I'm heading to running group since Chase's soccer was cancelled (the fields are a mess from so much rain) and I can't imagine Colin will be in any shape to go. DH or I still need to stop by the game because we were on snack duty this week!
Anyhow Colin ran into our room sobbing around 4:30 this morning complaining of a wet bed. I had him pee while I changed the sheets. He was half asleep and kind of crazy, then I kissed him on the forehead and WHOA. Poor kid was burning up. Changed his PJs and put him back to bed. The fever broke but he's still so miserable, so he's once again back in bed. I'm going to have DH call the pediatrician as soon as they open to get him in. I'll be back in time to take him and we'll go from there.
PLEASE don't let Chase get sick!!!

joelies thanks for mentioning snack duty because it just made me check and I have it today too. Sorry Colin is sick. C only got up twice last night! It’s a miracle and he went to bed without me home because I was with DD. We plan to apple pick this morning then DD and C have soccer this afternoon.

I just finished making my sisters ‘advent calendar’ that has 30 presents counting down the days until her 30th birthday. It looks so cute and I’m so happy with it!

Poor Col. I hope they can get him better quickly.
I need to start running since I have a 5k at the end of the month. I’m hoping I’m building up so much strength with BBM that it won’t be an issue.

Morning. H took the kids down to breakfast, and I volunteered to "watch" Bea while she sleeps 😁 We are going to breakfast at H's aunt's house, so I need to get ready soon. I just cannot sleep in hotels and I got hit with allergies, so I'm dragging today. trtlcrzy we did not make it to the bombing memorial last night, but are going to try to make it today. |

DH took B to tennis and I’m going to fight C for the playroom TV so I can work out (yesterday she kept saying ‘no no no!’ And trying to make me stop...apparently I’m already cramping her style) |

Morning! We’re getting cooler weather here finally!! And by cooler I mean it’s only 76 right now and we can eat breakfast on the patio, which is glorious. We’re suppose to get rain next week to and drop to the low 80’s.
Anyway dh is making banana pancakes and bacon and then we have another full day of soccer games, with the added fun of soccer pictures in between each game.

Morning. I’m at my hair appointment for a cut, the cleaning lady is at my house, and MH has the boys out for breakfast. Starting the day off good.
I’m jealous of all the fall weather. We are still in the high 80s/ low 90s. Boo. I don’t want it to be cold, but I do love when it’s in the 70s.

Morning! I’m loling at the various temperatures this morning. It’s in the 30s here and I’m not happy about it! The kids went outside with dh after breakfast but came back in after about 20 minutes because they were too cold. It was 90 2 weeks ago. Can’t we just have a normal fall?!
We going to get a few things done around the house today and I’d like the get mums in my planters. Then our friends are coming over later and I’m trying to decide what to make. I’m thinking some sort of soup with a loaf of crusty bread. Mmmm

slenle that’s how our ‘fall’ was last year...we had none of the delightful ‘in between’ weather, it went from super warm to very cold (for here, anyway!) Soup and bread sound delicious, I really need to get on the soup-making bandwagon. My repertoire is basically limited to chili and baked potato soup.
